SCENARIO 1
Target Respondents
When selecting target respondents it is necessary to analyze the research objective. The respondents need to be accurate to provide good results for the research (Zikmund & Babin 2010). The target respondents for Menulog in this research are Australian restaurant owners who use the site. The reason they are chosen as the representatives for this research is because the objective of the research is to analyze how they feel about the service. We also want to see how they value the website, app and marketing tools offered. To achieve an accurate responds and have a more in-depth research, it is advised that researchers target and interview a few restaurant owners and maybe their staff to see how different roles in

The research should target students both international and local along with tourist as they are the ones who are more likely to use the bikes to visit areas. The reason to focus on students is because they are more likely to visit places and would often want to get to their destinations in the most cost effective way. Tourist should be targeted because they would probably like to experience finding their own way around rather than utilizing public transportations like taxis, busses or trams. A questionnaire can be defined as questions set to record and achieve specific and relative information with accuracy and completeness (Gendall 1998). Researchers would need to be direct on the purpose of the questionnaire and also offer options to choose as an answer so as to place the responses results into proportions. To evaluate whether or not customers’ preference on using the bikes changed with the implementation of fee-based bikes and multi-day rentals, it is recommended that an online survey be generated. Adelaide Free Bikes can generate the survey on their website so when customers access the page the questionnaire will appear. This method is highly cost effective and less time consuming as everything can be done at the comfort of the respondents. The questions on the questionnaire should be specific and straight to the point along with short as respondents will be less likely to do lengthy surveys. Doing this will also make it easier to estimate the data (Gendall 1998). Another suggestion for the questionnaire would be that the contents should portray a ranking form and close-ended questions which gives options to choose from. A few open-ended questions can be included with suggestions on how to improve the services. However, to get a better understanding on who uses the service a face-to-face method which is a qualitative approach

Does it ask information from people that they are connected to WCQP only due to call-in advice program or there is any other reason. The survey might include just one question which ration station do you like? and people just chose they like WCQP.

My primary research and interview with the manager portray the stores’ customer service as mainly ‘good’ or ‘okay’ which conveys that Seelans superstores’ customer service also contributes to its repeat purchase. In my questionnaire the question which was given was “what is your opinion on the stores’ customer service?” and below respondents were given the choices of good, okay, bad and needs improvement. A large majority, precisely 63% of customers responded well however 1% answered needs improvement, I strongly believe if the store improves its customer service it will generate more repeat purchases. When doing the interview with the manager and a staff I asked the query, “what do you think of your stores’ customer service and how would you improve it?”
The authors study a restaurant for this purpose. The restaurants have an inherent advantage that a licensed and franchisee restaurant might share the same menu ideas, outlook strategies, and production pedagogy which necessarily makes them more comparable while the management forms, observing systems, hiring methodologies etc make the two different enough to study and identify the underlying causal relationship (if any). The authors in the end then comment on the vital points of differences between franchising and licensing. These differences are microscopically studied under both operational as well as business thought process aspect. The authors comment that franchising might lead to a higher customer satisfaction level irrespective of the metric and the reason being that franchisor usually has better control of the day to day operations in a franchisee.
Introduction “Where public transportation goes, the community grows” Public transit benefits riders and non-riders economically (Jerpi, n.d.), environmentally and physically (American Public Transportation Association, n.d.). Public transportation has been considered as one of the factors that determines the quality of the city by some people. Moreover, San Francisco ranked the top three city has the highest public transit ridership in 2007 (Christie, 2007).Then, how about college students living in a city with a high public transit ridership?
