) Communication skills for teachers are as important as their depth in the knowledge of the particular subject they teach. A teacher should possess positive motivation, because in a class there would be students who have different kinds of taste and preferences over the subjects. Therefore it is the duty of the teacher to create interest in the minds of the students towards the subject. The lesson should be presented in a way that grabs the students’ attention maybe by using visuals therefore students would be enthusiastic to learn something new. One of which is to use eye contact while teaching so that the students are aware the teacher is watching them. While teaching the teacher should move around the class and make use of the space in order to be an authoritative presence in the classroom. When students misbehave in the class the teacher might increase the tone of her voice in order to gain control of the class. And it is also very important for a teacher to portray the right facial expressions according the situation. For example if a student is caught causing disturbances in the classroom while the lesson is going on the teacher might give a stern look to the student, so that the student understands that the teacher is angry at his behavior and that the teacher would punish him for his bad behavior. Likewise when a student has brought about a change in his or her behavior, the teacher should reward them therefore they are encouraged to be well behaved. A teacher could do by using a behavior chart to inculcate good behavior, if a student behaves well they get a red star on that chart and bad behavior leads to black star on the chart. I have to pay attention to what they want to say so that if they are facing any problem I could help them out in it. I could improve a lot in my methods of teaching, since I teach Math’s certain lessons tend to become very boring for my students.
