Teaching is an opportunity to see kid’s progress throughout a school year and help them succeed in the career path they chose for themselves. This is why I want to be a teacher. I want to help make all my students become successful and be there for them for support. I want to teach because I enjoy getting up everyday to see the children’s bright faces as they are just as excited to see me and discuss their weekend shenanigans. I am a big people person and always upbeat. If you are in a good mood and have fun teaching then so will your students. I also want to pursue a teaching career because I want kids to know that they can become anything they want to be. Any child is capable of doing whatever he/she wants; however, they need a boost
A large group of students in the United States makeup a large population of English language learners. Students who are considered English language learners undergo many challenges in their education, and without the necessary support and resources from their educators it can make it hard for them to succeed. A teacher plays a significant role in the success of a child, and it is crucial for them to be able to provide the proper education to students whose first language is not English. It is also very important for teachers to understand the challenges that these students are facing. Having empathy towards the students allows for the teacher to create better connections and relationships to better help them.
I chose to pursue the teaching field because of my experience training new nurses and C.N.A.’s at the nursing home I previously worked at. There were students that would come to observe and learn the procedures and skills needed to work in a nursing home. My bosses knew to send them to me because they saw the passion I had for teaching skills in the nursing field. So when I knew that I was going to have those students, I became overjoyed because I knew that as they learned, I was actually making a difference in their careers in the medical field. The passion for teaching began early for me in life.
Teaching New York magazine says that only 6% of people get the job they wanted as a child. I’ve wanted to be a teacher my whole life. I’ve always wanted to help people grow and develop. My teachers always used to tell me I’d be an amazing teacher. When we would do group projects at school, I loved it because I got to stand up and tell these people something they may or may not already know!
I have taught many students over my career. I have always sought to encourage, support and motivate them so that they could create better lives for themselves. Teaching is an ideal profession to help others determine and reach their potential. And I know that I must continue to develop myself professionally in order to be a better teacher and educator My motivation is to study and research practical consultancy projects with schools and education policy organizations.
Teaching was not something I originally thought of when I started school, but when I got accepted here I realized that I could be the Mrs. DeWeese to another child and be able to influence them the same way that I was. Teaching and helping middle school age children is my dream and I feel that I have the patience and passion to be able to teach them. With all the different types of bullying these days, especially cyber-bullying and peer-pressure I hope that one day I am able to become a school counselor; so that I can help more students who struggle with the pressures of middle
I am pursing a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I am passionate about education and excited to share the joy of learning with students. The perspective of wonder and sense of excitement that children bring into education motivates me daily. While many professions can be impactful, I believe the qualities of the person in the career position to be the most influential.
Why do people want to become teachers? There is low pay, long hours, little benefits, students have more rights than teachers. Right off the bat, for me, I see teaching as a way to spread your love for a subject(s) while making an impact on students lives. Students will

Teaching has always been one of the few jobs we knew about as kids. Unlike everyone else I still I want to be a teacher. Not only do I love helping people, but I also love the feeling you get when you teach someone what it is or how it works. The main reasons why I want to teach elementary kids is because I like kids, I want to teach multiple subjects, and it’s something different every day. Everyone has different reasons for wanting to teach, but the main one for me is because I like kids.
I want to teach because I desire to make an impact not only in the field of education, but also in a child’s life. Without an education our future generations will be going downhill as productive members of society, and that is why a teacher’s role in society is crucial. I want to teach because I want to revamp how everyone sees learning- I aspire to make learning exciting. As a teacher, I aim to be an inspiration for my students, but also for future teachers, for the reason that teachers have the capability of collectively, and individually, changing the world.
I personally love learning, and I want to become a teacher. If I can teach in a way that makes others interested in learning more, then I feel like I have succeeded on the spreading the power of discovery; I have opened the world for that person. I am firm believer that every class has its’ importance and relevancy to someone’s life. My dedication to learning, strong work ethic, and desire to spread knowledge and passion to others is evident in my academic past and in my philosophy of learning.
I want to teach so that I can create an inclusive classroom environment that is perfect for learning. My goal is to get students excited to learn. I will accommodate to all of my students according to their individual needs. I aspire to be a teacher who respects their students and gets respect back.
One of the guiding factors of my interactions with students, both in and out of the classroom, is that the student is ultimately responsible for their own learning. As a teacher, I have a responsibility to help students gain an understanding of the material and applications of that material. This doesn’t mean, however, that I should simply provide answers to student questions. I require that students with questions take the responsibility to research those questions on their own (at least in the textbook and other class materials); if that research doesn’t lead them to a solution, we engage in a dialogue to guide them to an answer. If I can teach students how to discover answers on their own, I’ve given them capabilities they can use well past
