Technology is affecting how people live nowadays in a negative way. If someone from the 1950’s suddenly appeared today, what would be the most difficult thing to explain to him or her about life today? Most teenagers would respond saying that they are living in an era where people will use their phones to search up anything they need, such as books, music, and even interacting with other humans via social medias.
This generation is known as the brain washed generation, where nobody can go outside without their mobile devices. This has affected the way individuals interact. The human kind is becoming addicted to social medias, such as: Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Vine, Snapchat, etc. A wide spread of crimes involving Facebook and Twitter have increased by 350%. In 2010, a woman was assassinated by her loved one because she changed her status from “in a relationship” to “single”. Teenagers are getting addicted to these sites and it is affecting their study and family time. Not only that, but it also has increased the percentage of teen suicide. According to the Military Suicide Research Consortium (MSRC) the first documented suicide case via Web was in Japan in 2000.
