The constitution states that “...the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”.(US Const. amend. II) The right to bear arms is just as important as the right to free speech. The second amendment was put in the Constitution for a reason, and no one has the right to take away any of the rights given to the people by the United States Constitution. The moment the right to bear arms gets taken away, the government has free reign to take away more rights.

In today’s society, one of the most alienating issues in American politics is gun control. More specifically, the issue is whether or not guns should be banned in the United States. Some people would say that guns should be banned because it would reduce crime as a whole and keep citizens safer. These people, enthusiasts of stricter gun laws, fear being safe in their country where there are so many people who have access to guns. Opponents of this argument, however, also fear losing safety.

There are different situations where a gun has come in handy for someone to protect either themselves, their family, friends, or strangers. It could take years for the process to go through and there is a chance that they will not go through with amending the second amendment. If the second

They believe that after the traumatic event that caused them the have this pain that something must be done to ban all firearms regardless of who uses them. Everyone fall on this spectrum and that is the issue no one can be one hundred percent right meaning someone will be unhappy with the result. From constitution being first ratified to today the idea of gun control has still existed. Gun control is the regulation of guns through their purchasing, owning, and use. As such starting with the second amendment of the United States constitution which says, “A well regulated Militia, […and] the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”.

Banning Guns Will Endanger Law-Abiding Citizens Gun control has been an idea since the 1800s, Gun regulations can be good and bad. History has shown that banning firearms from the populace led to disaster and civil unrest. ¨We the People¨ in the United States are very divided when it comes to dealing with gun control and regulations for gun ownership. Banning guns increase fatalities, decreases personal protection and safety, and prohibits citizens from their constitutional rights.

Many people have challenged the Second Amendment against the individual rights of the people of the United States; however, the Supreme Court has upheld the Second Amendment rights of individuals against these challenges. All Americans deserve the right to bear arms. The Second Amendment makes it impossible for the government to seize firearms from U.S.

To emphasize, the Second Amendment is a American citizens right, but this privilege can be taken away if one does not abide by the laws of American society. Therefore, the Second Amendment is of great controversy in America. The federal government should not have a say about the second amendment; just uphold the law. In the event, the federal government may set Categorical Grants on gun laws for states, will we as Americans lose our Second Amendment rights, this is what many citizens in American society are concerned about. Coupled with, sometimes it is not about who is right, it is about what is best for the greater good of American citizens.

Some people believe that felons and individuals considered to be mentally diminished should be prevented from owning any firearms; while others believe in unrestricted rights to bear arms under the Second Amendment.

Whether this was obtained in legal or illegal circumstances, it does not change that fact that we need to create regulations on automatic weapons. Weapons like everything else, should have limits. For example a person cannot have more than 2-3 dogs or they will be cited. Another example is that although we have freedom of speech, we can not yell fire in a crowded room where there is no fire; there are limits to our free speech. Why do we have limits on everything else but weapons, does human life no longer have value.

And this is causing a big problem because people are misusing them. Therefore, I believe the guns should be banned in the U.S. It is no exaggeration to say that guns are the key element to cause the instability in the society of U.S. The citizens are possessing guns in U.S. and this is a huge risk for the government and the safety of society itself. Looking at the issue of gun rights, I am a firm believer that this right should strictly be a state issue. There are various factors that can play a great role in the culture of each state. Things such as population density, geography, morality, childhood, political status, and religion impact states and the way they function. If each state shared the same law related to gun rights, it would ultimately defeat the goal of allowing each state to create laws based on their culture, and would most likely become a federal law, limiting the right of some. Being born and raised in Wyoming, I see no issues with all citizens having the right to bear arms.
