For the Texans, the 20th century began on Jan. 10, 1901 when the Lucas No. 1 well blew in at thte Spindletop near Beaumont, a hill which was formed by a giant underground dome of salt in southeastern Texas. All though Miami and Los Angeles are both in the United States and far away from El Salvador, they have Spanish speaking residence within their areas. Each of the locations have their own form of culture that is not like each other.

Within this growing city lies a private, baptist university with a growing reputation for success in college football, Baylor. Baylor is a modern example of overrated success, the American bandwagoner 's dream, and the copycat system of head coaches today in football.

A spanish navigator Jose’ Antonio de Evia arrived in the area in 1783 and named the bay “Galvezton” to honor Viceroy Bernardo de Galvez. Galveston did not start developing until the 1820’s and became the first and only deepwater port city in the Civil War Era. This, along with all of its cultural influences, is one of the many reasons that Galveston, Texas has remained important in Texas history. Galveston is an important part of Texas history through its geography, culture, and impact on today’s society.

Walking through the streets of San Antonio, you can tell that the Mexican Culture has had a big influence on Texas. The aroma of Mexican food fills your nose as you walk down the streets of the city. Tortillas, Tacos, Burritos, Enchiladas, Tamales, Fajitas, Chalupas, Flautas, Guacamole, Salsa, the list just goes on and on. But we would never have these foods if Mexico had never influenced Texas.

Since the dawn of time Texas has been a revolutionary place where many cultures manifested and changed. Latino Culture has obviously been a major influence on Texas overall, this can be taken from the name itself and other things. Not only does “Texas” derive from spanish origin, but the progress of Latin culture into America and the civil rights movement has gone a long way and truly made a foundation for Texas since the 1500s .

The city was named after the leader of the Texas army during the war of independence from Mexico, Sam Houston.

If 5,000,000 plus people come to see mountains and streams,it must be a beautiful state. What’s the state you may wonder? Its Colorado! The state does have a lot of people. Plus the mountains are very beautiful. Furthermore there are ten cities. The state is big, they get billions of dollars each year.

The Mexican culture is very diverse which has undergone many transformations over several decades and the culture varies widely throughout Mexico and the United States. All Tejanos wanted was to be remembered for being in Texas. They claim that they were the true native Texans. Tejanos were nowhere to be found in Texas history. Tejanos were insulted by this and believed they deserved to be a part of Texas history, and they were not going to stop until they got noticed for what they did for Texas.

The fast-growing community of Hutto, located in Williamson County along the eastern rim of the Hill Country Region, has undergone a population explosion within the last 20 years. After weighing in the positives and negatives a great amount of people including myself can say that the positives about Texas outweighs the negatives. People have found Texas a great place to live, especially to build a career, because it has the infrastructure and the circumstances that raise job establishment and job success.
