1. Introduction

TGV Cinemas as earlier known as Tanjong Golden Village is the second largest cinema chain in Malaysia after GSC (Golden Screen Cinema). The company was founded in 1994 and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As of July 31, 2008, TGV Cinemas Sdn Bhd operates as a subsidiary of Tanjong Entertainment Sdn Bhd. In March 2015, TGV Cinemas has 32 movie theatre complex with 235 screens and more than 45,000 seats. TGV Cinemas is headquartered at Level 29, Menara Maxis, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, 50088 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
