Having family to me mean sacrifices yourself just to make another happy, where you have to make decision which will hurt you inside, There are some people who were born to be unbelievable, and careless which is something that some of us can never understand, that why They live their life how they want and do whatever they want to people because they know there no consequences to it. To be honest, I don't know how can someone feel good by hurting others feeling. It all starts the day before thanksgiving, I was playing video game with my brother and my mom was on her cell phone talking to somebody, suddenly I heard the house phone right, it was my aunt from Pennsylvania. "Hello, How you are", " my aunt asked "I'm okay, how about you", " i replied. "I'm good, can i talk to your mom?" my aunt asked. " oh yeah, hold up", I replied. Hello, "OH MY GOD, IT'S BEEN SO LONG" "my Mom said. "OH god. i know right, But guess what me and Darius are coming over for thanksgiving" said my aunt. "OH your kidding, well alright, i have some stuff to go finish, ill see you tomorrow than" replied my mom. …show more content…
I left the house 1 hour early before my aunt and my cousin arrived at the house. I told my mom I was going out with my friend and I will to come back at four pm, but instead I went there and stay until 10 pm, so when I got back home, I was trying to sneak into my room so I wouldn't have to see my mom or my cousin because I wasn't in the mood for conversation. I open the door to my room and there he was bed playing in my PlayStation 3, I got angrier than I was, so I walked back out, I slept on the couch in the living
Reading the comic strip “True Tales of the Amerikkkan History Part II: The True Thanksgiving” artist Jim Mahfood, examines different views on ethnicity, specifically the differences between American Indians and Whites, through the views of a naïve and native youngster. Mahfood, utilizes a classic nine panel format with “True Tales of the Amerikkkan History Part II: The True Thanksgiving”, which traces the youths discussion about Thanksgiving. This discussion between the white kid and the Native American kid, shows the vast differences between both youths perception of the traditional American holiday. Mahfood’s portrayal of the white kid, as a self-absorbed follower of society and as direct reflection of his apparently, uncompassionate
Dr. Meyers, Hello! I hope your Thanksgiving was rejuvenating and enjoyable with family and friends. This is Angelia (Angel) Hirsch from the summer practicum course through Liberty University. I am not certain what happened over the week of Thanksgiving, but our house (which is a 125 year-old historical home, really a niche market, not many want to deal with the special things that come along with the age and up keep) suddenly went into high demand and we had numerous offers come in on Wednesday!
Martha looked at the myth of Thanksgiving. The idea that an entire family would happily get together for a huge meal. The family will think and talk about everything that they are thankful for. This is heavily discussed in elementary schools. As a child I remember my teacher suggesting that at dinner we should go around the table and have each family member say something that they are thankful for.
The daughter said “yes I did hear about that, and as of right now i’m not too happy about his new idea.” “ i’m very worried about his decision.” the daughter said with a very serious face. “Mom!!!” Freddy screamed “Mom,mom, mom, mom!”
It was Thanksgiving Day, the sun was already shining in Paris. Sarah woke up very early to prepare her traditional pumpkin pie, and organize her famous lunch with Dorota, her housekeeper and confident. Chuck, her boyfriend was still sleeping, he was a rich businessman who had and hotel named Empire. Sara loved riches, and clothes, she was bossy, and controller, but had a good heart. Sara and Chuck were dating for a long time, they lived together, but they always had big fights.

Thanksgiving is a time of month that you can spend time with your family. Do you want to know how Thanksgiving started? Well if you do well then let me tell you. It has been celebrated as a holiday ever since 1864, during the American Civil War.
Thanksgiving Shivering to the bone, running in the front door of my dad’s house I hear the sound of pots and pans popping on the stove. From the moment I stepped foot in the door I could smell ham and sweet potatoes baking in the oven. Walking in the kitchen I see my step mom mashing potatoes with a beater. As I walk to the stove I see eggs boiling so we could make deviled eggs. I hear a strange noise so I turned
As another November approaches, my family and I, like many others, prepare for the beloved holiday of Thanksgiving. It is a time I take to relax, take a break from sports and school, and enjoy the company of my family. Members of my family come from far and wide just to share a meal in peace as one. However, once the turkey has been carved and eaten, a beast of a different variety is laid upon our table. Not to be eaten, no, but still consumed and savored with the same regard as the poultry.
Every year every November there is a holiday called Thanksgiving that my family always fails to forget. Every Thanksgiving all of my relatives I mean all meet up at my Nana’s house so we can really put time aside to reconnect. Mostly the holiday is fun a lot of times it can be very dramatic and chaotic i’d say mostly chaotic. But still every single Thanksgiving my family meets up at my grandma’s house no matter what went on during the year it is our responsibility to make it to her house for our annual Thanksgiving feast.
Thanksgiving dinner Thanksgiving should be a day to spend with family and enjoy the company of everyone I remember when I was younger, my family use to get together to cook and help set up the tables. Though, the past few years my family started to distance themselves and it’s getting worse and worse by the years goes by or I just started to realized it the older I get. Every year in thanksgiving every family has to bring a dish that’s when the drama begins there’s always that one aunt that always says she doesn’t have money so she not bring anything just happens to be the same aunt every year. Everyone knows that the holidays are around the corner and gets when family gets together. When I started to check my Facebook I see all those families taking a group picture and mine are in little groups not even talking to each other just with people within their house.
Thanksgiving is a time that most families gather to share a huge feast. However, not every family celebrates Thanksgiving the same. Much like our ancestors, every American that celebrates thanksgiving celebrates uniquely. My Thanksgiving is special and unique to me because my family has developed our own traditions over the years. We spend the day inside cooking and watching football.
Thanksgivings What does Thanksgiving mean? Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated to cherish and celebrate everything that you are thankful for, but for some people it may be different. Everyone has a different meaning for Thanksgiving. Some just see Thanksgiving Day as a time to stuff their faces with food for no reason, I am one of those people.
Later that day Henna and her friends came to our table and apologized for making fun of me. I asked Henna “ Why did you make fun of me?” Henna replied “ I made that up because when I asked you to sit with us you didn’t, instead you chose to sit here. That made me mad because no one refuses to me. I am really sorry, I hope you forgive me and we can become good
One day while Nala was in the house she heard her mama and papa talk about something but Nala couldn't hear them properly. While Ayan began packing what few items they had, papa went over to Waris and Nala and explained to them that they were going to Mogadishu for a while and he was going to stay at home. Waris was fine with but Nala cried to papa and said, “why do we have to leave without you”. Bye this time Ayan had already tied the few items
