The 4 Major Composers Of The Baroque Period

The Baroque period was from 1600 – 1750 and one of the most revolutionary in the history of music. The major composers of this time were Johanna Sebastian Bach, George Frederic Handel, Claudio Monteverdi, Henry Purcell, Arcangelo Corelli, and Antonio Vivaldi. The classical period was from 1750 – 1825 and the music was very different from previous periods in time. The major composers of the Classical period included Joseph Hayden, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Carl Phillip Emanuel Bach, and Johann Christian Bach. Carl Phillip Emanuel and Johann Christian were the sons of Johanna Sebastian Bach.
