The attack on 9/11 was an atrocity. Many innocent people died. Many people lost their loved ones.
According CNN.com, the terrorists hijacked four airplanes and crashed them into the World Trade Center, the
Pentagon Building in Washington, and a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. On that day, more than three
thousand people died including innocent civilians, firefighters, and passengers on those airplanes. The cruel act
from the terrorists cannot be ignored and pushed aside. The government needed to step in and do something.
This would be an unforgettable tragedy that will remain in the history of the United States forever.
A total of three thousand people died that morning. The worse thing is that four hundred of them were policemen and firemen they were trying to save other people but they died in the action. They all died from the collapse or being stuck in the rubble for too long. ("11 Facts About 9/11.") This disaster caused lots and lots of lives from innocent people.
• There are reports that the September 11 attacks killed 2,996 people and injured more than 6,000 Americans. These deaths included 265 that were on four aircraft, 2,606 deaths just within the World Trade Center and surrounding areas, and the Pentagon had 125 deaths. These deaths weren’t necessary if the government was behind this evil intention just to bring Americans together for support of a war against another nation.
The 9/11 attacks occurred on September 11, 2001, when four planes were hijacked by members of the terrorist group Al-Qaeda. Two of the planes were crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City. The planes caused extensive damage to the World Trade Center, and both of the main towers eventually fell. Another of the planes was crashed into the Pentagon, which caused fire and structural damage to the building. The fourth and final plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania after the passengers tried to take over the plane.
September 11th was a tragic day for the American people as we witnessed the economic and military symbols of our great country go up in flames. Hijackers overcame authorities on four different planes and used them to inflict insufferable damage amongst our people. Two planes crashed into the North and South towers of what was known as the World Trade Center that ultimately caused its collapse. The collapse killed thousands of people who were trapped in and around the building and even affected other structures within the city as debris fell from the buildings and filled the streets of Manhattan, New York. A third plane was crashed into our Department of Defense otherwise known as the Pentagon and the very last plane which was directed towards

In addition, it left businesses, offices,people who lived apartments, and neighbors being bankrupt, jobless, and homeless. Terrorists caused a huge impact corrupting buildings and innocent lives.
What happened is a group of terrorists boarded 4 planes and took them over and crashed two into the twin towers and one into the pentagon and the last one passengers on the last plane retook over the plane and crashed it in a field in Pennsylvania .
Many events in history have left an impact on America, but 9/11 2001 had the most significant impact on American society. On September 11th, terrorists hijacked planes and crashed them in New York, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania. In this attack, many people lost their lives, and the government responded with immediate actions to stop the activity of terrorists. The events of 9/11 had a profound impact on American society because of how many people were affected and the subsequent changes in national security policies and public perceptions of safety.
The events that occurred on September, 11, 2001 were among the most catastrophic events in American history. The events of the day were summarized as 19 militants associated with the terror group al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out targeted attacks in the United States. Out of the four planes, two of them were flown into the World Trade Center in New York, a third one into the Pentagon in Washington and the fourth one crashing off course into a field. The 9/11 tragedy was a moment where people had their guard up at all times. This was a time where life had strike to reality of time warfare with every person and country. Couldn’t trust no one that came to the U.S. America is the land of the free and the home of the brave, were brave because the generations before us had to face what had happened and to what is going to happen. This had left the buildings torn instantly killing hundreds of many people, getting them stuck in the higher floors. This attack was the worst in America ever since the Pearl Harbor All over our nation saw a major impact of devastation in the face of the September 9, 2001attacks.
September 11th, 2001 also known as 9/11 was a tragic event of history. Hijackers drove jets into both of the world trade centers and the pentagon. The results left the nation destructed, thousands died in the event of 9/11. All of the nation as a whole was left heartbroken. Everyone felt that there needed to be a response to 9/11.

Nineteen members linked to the Islamic radical group Al-Qaeda executed suicide attacks; they took over four jet airliners, American Airlines Boeing 767 Flight 11, United Airlines Boeing 767 Flight 173, American Airlines Boeing 757 Flight 77 and United Airlines Boeing 757 Flight 93. Flight 11 crashed into the World Trade Center North Tower in New York, NY. Shortly after, Flight 175 hit the World Trade Center South Tower. Afterwards, Flight 77 blasted into the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
One moment it was a normal day and the next moment will forever be ingrained within the minds of an entire nation. The first plane hit at 8:46 a.m. and the second at 9:03 a.m., leaving 2,819 people dead. September 11, 2001 will always be remembered as a day of great destruction, a day of great loss. September 11, 2001 was the day two planes flew into the World Trade Center, forever changing the way of life for all of America. After this horrible act of terrorism the president of the United States gave a speech addressing the nation.
All of these events demonstrated that al-Qaeda could carry out terrifying attacks thousands of miles away from its base in Afghanistan. Al- qaeda’s leaders did not care about their gruesome actions. In their minds, God was on their side so they could do no wrong. Many people to this day still question our government about the 9/11 attacks and why someone did not take action before it got to this point.

One hour and 42 minutes after the crash of the planes both 110 stories towers collapsed resulting fire and the collapsing and damage to the other towers. Including the seven world trade center tower which has 47 stories.
