James Madison went on to become the 4th president, and John Jay signed the Treaty of Paris which ended the French and Indian War (staff). The Federalist papers were a list of reasons why the colonists should ratify the constitution. The papers were written between October 1787 and May 1788 (loc). While Madison wrote 28 and Jay wrote 5, Hamilton wrote 52 of the Federalist papers (founding fathers). Most of the papers that Hamilton wrote were about interpreting the Constitution (library), which is extremely important. Some of the colonists didn't want the Constitution to be written because, they claimed the Constitution gave the government to much power, they were called the Anti-Federalists. On the flip side the Federalist said the constitution restricted the government not the people (constitutionfacts). When the articles were published they were said to be submitted to “various New York state newspapers” (congress) anonymously under the name “PUBLIUS” (congress). General George Washington, the first president of the United States, took interest of his profound writings and suggested him to join the general’s military staff. At the age of twenty-two, Hamilton decided to join the staff as aide-de-camp with the rank of lieutenant colonel. In the four years of remaining in the staff, Hamilton was entrusted with making a compromise with the general, sent on many perceptive missions, and eventually made Washington's liaison with French military commanders who supported the Revolutionary
He spent much of his time writing Washington 's critical letters, and composed numerous reports on the strategic reform and restructuring of the Continental Army. Hamilton was not satisfied with a desk job so Washington soon promoted him to lieutenant colonel of the continental army(Sanders, Burns, Ades 63). In 1781 he begged for some action on the battlefield with Washington 's permission, Hamilton led a victorious charge against the British in the Battle of Yorktown. The Federalist Papers were essays written in 1787 by Alexander Hamilton who collaborated with James Madison and John Jay. The Federalist Papers defended the newly drafted constitution and explained how the constitution was a upgrade from the Articles of confederation. These papers were originally published using the pen name Publius in the Newspaper before the names of the writers were released. These papers were written to the people of New York to sway them in ratifying the Constitution. Federalist Paper number ten explains how the violence and damage that happens to be caused by factions and how the constitution could fix that.
There was no way that the rebels could have handled Britain and France, considering France was almost a deciding factor in the revolutionary war. Hamilton would also always have the manners of a soldier. It was said he always moved and stood just like a soldier and that so were his ideas and thoughts though like a soldier. Hamilton also judged the people around by the same aspect to which he judged himself. In the history books, George Washington was considered a great man because he was calm in battle.

With his father leaving when Hamilton was young, Hamilton had to grow up quickly.
He would have to relay messages to Washington’s men. Then, rightfully so after the revolution, Washington appointed him as a representative of the Congress of the Confederation. He later resigned to practice law. When the question “why was Hamilton important to our history?” is asked I sat on it for a little while and thought about it. He is more important than Cane’s chicken fingers is to Saint Charles people.
Some of the most important people in the history of the United States are the founding fathers who founded this extravagant country. Alexander Hamilton happened to be one of those founding fathers. Alexander Hamilton (2004) is a detailed true story of one of the most important figures in American history. It is based on Hamilton’s early life. As a politician, as a revolutionary war hero, and the first treasury secretary, Hamilton dedicated his life and intellect to unifying and strengthening the United States. Though he was never president, he was a hero deemed as a true founding father, title he kept till his death.
When it comes to Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton the main difference between the two was their political party. The basis of each of their political parties set the boundaries for their beliefs and their views as politicians. Both men were founding fathers of our country, and made a huge impact on history as we know it. Without these men, our country's government might not be what it is today. One of the only similarities of Jefferson and Hamilton was their want to diminish national debt.
In 1777, Hamilton had become George Washington’s assistant. In the year of 1788 he convinced New Yorkers to ratify the U.S Constitution. He then became the secretary if the treasury. He was a founding father, served in the military, studied law, was involved in politics and government. He is also on U.S currency (10-dollar bill) who was never a president.
