Fadi’s leadership skills allowed him to build Aramex from nothing into a world-class logistics company in about 30 years. He had a sincere heart, faith and had compassion for the society. His value for the well-being of the society came out clear when he started what became to be the source of employment for thousands of people who were previously unemployed. His desire to create more entrepreneurs in his region has encouraged him to spend most of his time helping upcoming entrepreneurs. Therefore, it researched the type of competitors and distilled them into a few categories. Aramex was also keen to identify strengths and weaknesses of all its competitors as a source of its point of differentiation.
Marketing strategy
Aramex was aware that marketing is an important aspect at the initial stages of company development (Nargundkar 2010). It dedicated substantial time and resources to careful crafting of their exceptional value proposition. Additionally, they created appropriate sales tools prior to product launching. There was also the need to create a good integration of sales and marketing teams and make sure the two teams were guided by common objectives (Kotler & Kartajaya 2010). The new venture was willing to establish joint measures in sales and marketing as well as creation of metrics as early as possible.
