Travelling is one way that people can enjoy their life. Travelling helps people have enjoyable experiences, get more friends and understand more about the world. As Dunning (2017) state in Global Goose website, there are many different types of travelling: the weekend break, the group tour, the caravan trip, the volunteer and business travel . In recent years, backpacking has become more and more prevalent not only in Vietnam but also in the world. According to Research Institute for Tourism Development in Vietnam from 2013, backpacking is a kind of tourism, people when participating in backpacking- backpackers are free in choosing transport facilities and making plan about where they want to go, where they will stay. The purposes of backpackers are discovered natural or experience cultural local. Moreover, as Hostel Bookers website from 2015, backpacking is also depicted that it is far more than a way of travelling and the way people can look at and explore the world. Almost people participate in backpacking are young people because they are adventurous, have a good health. As agreed by Le (2017) and Kelly (n.d.), backpacking is a way for young people to discover themselves, When backpacking, people might have changes to understand more about themselves such as a gift for reading maps and signposts in French or new favorite foods. Le (2017) also adds that this activity is beneficial to participants for training their will, eagerness to face all challenges. For young people who are always energetic, dynamic and want to assert themselves as well as master their own journeys, it also is a great passion, a fascinating attraction. Young people who aspire to be in the new land and conquer the challenge. These are colorful, liberal and liberal journeys, bringing infinite charm and inspiration to young people. In addition, backpacking helps people get more knowledge, backpackers can learn something that they have never known before. There are opportunities to see that people never find by sitting at home.
