Extremes are always easy. Striking the right balance is what keeps life moving forward. Taking risks is also what makes life worth living, because without them, there is no room to grow. Life is what you make of it, even when you have so much on your plate. In business, we are usually met with high demands for the sake of the company, but we have personal lives too. You may have deadlines, meetings, conferences, a pile of responsibilities, but how do you strike the right balance so that you are advantageous personally and in business?
Your personal life and business both add up. You need adequate time for recreation so that you can be the best you can be at work, which will in turn make the company more money, which will then make you more

Remember the key is about balance. You might have business expenses on top of personal obligations. It is imperative that you figure out what needs to be payed now. When it comes to setting aside money for leisure time, you can put aside as little as $5 every pay period to spend on small indulgences.
#2) Plan Better
Some of us are planners and some of us are the "fly by the seat of your pants" types. Whatever your mantra is, having a plan will help to navigate where you are going. If your goal is to improve the quality of your products, then you might consider cutting back on some things that won't put a huge dent into your business but will still deliver until you obtain your ideal product.
Although planning is the cornerstone of success, sometimes life leads us where we least expect it. When we have a goal in mind with the knowledge that everything might not fall perfectly into place, then it puts less stress on us. Instead of throwing in the towel, we simply create another pathway to reset our goals. For example, your goal might be to lose 50 pounds in 3 months , so you exercise more, make your workouts a little more challenging each day. Add protein to your diet and perhaps, get rid of the
A goal that I set for myself in the past that I did not successfully accomplish would be to complete another (third) marathon. I had set out to finish three and I have only done two to date. I could say the reason is because we moved and I haven’t had the opportunity to run, but really it’s about commitment. I am not ready to commit to the training schedule quite yet. An example of a goal I did accomplish was the finishing the first two marathons.
Getting involved means being apart of something more, having the chance to met different people, helping out the community, but its also means learning more about who you are as a person. Starting off at Washburn University I plan to get involved right away, in activities or clubs that would help my academically and socially like the Hispanic club , Freethinkers and French club. I will set goals for myself and achieve them, some small some big. One goal I am pursuing right now is learning french and Portuguese, i plan on going to Brazil next year. School goals, are turning in my work on time, stay focused on any task that is given to me, making sure I understand what i need to do and how to do it.
Many people are faced with challenging situations each day, but it is up to that person on how he or she will go about facing those challenges. I wish it can be said that each challenge a person face will bring something positive in their life. Challenges may come and go in all shapes, sizes, or colors. A person may feel as if their world is bright as a yellow sun one day and dark gray as a stormy night the next day, and that may be the important turning point when that challenge turn into a crisis. “Crisis occurs when more change or adjustment is required of an individual than he or she is capable of at the time” (Servellen,248).
In the novel Divergent, Veronica Roth shows the element one of many-- conformity. Conformity omits the idea of freedom and independence. Conformity appears in the beginning of the novel. Roth gives the readers an insight on the factions. All factions have a belief of conformity.
Our time is mostly spent working at school and sleeping. We spend our free time watching television or on our cellular device and we don't do anything that involves thinking or anything physical. The United States spends less leisure time than most countries around the world like Europe. In Fahrenheit 451 there are two types of people. There's people like Mildred that spend the whole day in front of a screen and people like Clarisse that actually spend time outside and interact with people, but there's more people like Mildred than there’s people like Clarisse.
Since the development of the social equity themes in public administration, many criminal justice agencies have included the themes of social equity in their mission and/or values statements and in their oath of office (Cronkhite, 2013). As Cronkhite (2013) stated the social equity theme is unique to public sector. A short survey of five police department’s mission statements from across the country was conducted using the departments’ websites to see how the social equity themes were included in the mission and values statements of the selected police departments. The departments whose mission statements were studied were New York Police Department (NYPD), Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Metro Nashville Police Department MNPD, and
Taking risks will get a person out of their “safe” comfort zones and the result of this can be something so

Saving money is one of the most difficult tasks to attempt. First, a budget needs to be established to ensure control of the expenditures. One should regularly record the monthly expenses. Any money saved for the month should be reserved for emergencies. Today, people are earning more money than ever before and still living beyond their means and ultimately, paycheck to paycheck.

It is important for teachers to create an environment that promotes fairness in order for students to succeed. Equality and equity are both needed to do this. Equality in a class means every student has the same opportunity to succeed. Making accommodations for students is called equity. This is needed in a class to ensure an equal opportunity to succeed is possible for every student.
Introduction In today’s society, it is common for employees to have many challenging responsibilities in their life other than work, for example, commitments involving parents or children, education or sports commitments or personal interests outside of work. People want to escape work for a greater sense of well-being and to reduce stress levels. A poor balance between an employee’s work commitments and their other responsibilities can lead to low productivity as well as high stress and absentees. Meanwhile, employees with better work-life balance often have a greater sense of responsibility, achievement, ownership and control of their working life.
Gender inequality is a deeply rooted issue that has been prevalent in all corners of the world since the beginning. It is in no way bound to a single country or area, as gender discrimination is everywhere, but in middle eastern countries it is so connected to the culture that this discrimination is seen as normal and even supported. People are being treated as second-class citizens based on nothing but the sex they were born with, and no one is even batting an eye. This is part of why the Middle East houses some of the lowest ranking countries on the Global Gender Gap Index. While some people continue to hold onto discriminatory values and remain uneducated in important topics, it is necessary for governments to make ending gender inequality a priority, especially in these middle eastern countries where radical religious groups like the Taliban force their restricting values on others and male guardianship strips women of the freedom of being in charge of their own lives.
