Renewable energy is not one of the choices, but it’s the only choice to save the environment. Renewable energy are the natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, plants, animals, tides and geothermal which exists infinitely. Everyday, we need energy for living. We get the energy from fossil fuels (coal, oil, natural gas) which are harming our environment, causing climate change, polluting by emitting too much CO2 into the atmosphere. There are not enough fossil fuels sources left on the earth for future generations. On the other hand, renewable energy has a positive impact on economic growth such as business, goods, and jobs. For example, Solar and wind power industries are creating jobs as renewable energy is continuously growing. Renewable energy is clean source of energy that is unlimited and will never run out. Overall, the government should replace fossil fuels with renewable energy in order to protect the environment and create more jobs. Renewable energy includes solar power, biomass energy, hydropower, wind power, and geothermal power (Renewable Energy). Solar power is a type of energy that comes from the sun, in the form of solar radiation, which makes the production of electricity possible (Allen). Biomass power is an organic material which has stored sunlight in the form of chemical energy which includes wood, wood waste, straw, sugarcane and a variety of agriculture.
