The construction sector produces a lot of waste such as greenhouse gases, water pollutants and solid wastes. This has a very adverse impact on the planet and changes the natural cycle in a negative manner. Hence, learning to construct buildings and monuments in an environmental friendly way is extremely important for sustaining life on the planet. Through better planning and architecture, a lot of wastage can be avoided and green fields and natural fertile lands can be left as such without using them for construction purposes. Thus, the architects play a very important role in developing a sustainable design.
