Wesley Cobble - money stealing bully, with no friends, and someone who people never want to cross paths with. Turned out to be, a kind, caring person, who actually wants to make friends, and is better than what people make of him to be. Sleeping Freshman Never Lie is a novel about a boy named Scott Hudson, and how his life plays out through the first year of highschool. He goes through making new friends,one of which is Wesley Cobble, losing friends, going way out of his comfort zone, trying to get a girl to like him, and just trying to get through homework, his mother being pregnant, and other difficulties with High School. In the beginning of the book, Wesley stole money from other students, including Scott. Getting more into the book Wesley develops a friendship with Scott, let alone Wesley is the one who starts the friendship. Wesley goes out of his way to make Scott like him, such as driving Scott to and from school, and just being very kind and friendly towards Scott. In the novel it says, “Then at lunch, who should promulgate across the cafeteria and drop down into a seat opposite of me while I was masticating some macaroni and cheese? Yup. My new pal. Everyone thought that Wesley was a bully because he stole lunch money from people, got into fights, and was just one of those people, who acted tough and made people know not to get in his way. But over the course of the book Wesley’s true self came out, he wanted friends, and put an effort into being nice to Scott. Wesley also kinda took Scott under his wing, and looked out for him during high school, made sure no one picked on Scott. Many will argue which character in the book has changed,from all of the opinions and reasonings with further evidence, it seems to stand out that Lee has changed the most throughout Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie.
They both were failing,“ Disappointed with D’s pleasantly satisfied with C’s and celebratory about a B, I allowed my standards at school to become pathetic”(Moore 54). Wes decided that he was just giving up on school. He started to skip school too. They both went to different school and they were way different. Wes went the private school.
Through the experience of working as youth leader for freshman connection I have grown as a better leader. To help incoming freshman was incredible experience for me. I joined freshman connection to serve school and defiantly to get knowledge and team building skills out of it, so that it can help me make my college experience better. I think I have achieved all the goals that I wanted to through working as youth leader. Additionally, not only that but also to work on community service project on bullying has really allowed me to serve as teacher helper.

On the other hand of that, a friend may see as a betrayal because they know how they can handle truths. Angus felt betrayed by Morgan due to the fact that Morgan had lied to him many times about their life. After finding out the two women did not actually die in a car crash but left due to the fact that Angus would become mean and cruel to his woman, Angus was crushed. He began to remember, but still, couldn’t understand why he could be like that. With Angus being so upset with his friend for lying about their life, he began to see another side to it.
In the novel, The Watsons go to Birmingham by Christopher Paul Curtis, Kenny wonders why his brother Byron is so mean to people. Kenny does not treat others better than Byron because he laughed at Rufus and Cody, he was teasing Byron when his lips got stuck to the mirror, and he was complaining when he had to take off his little sister’s winter clothes at school. On page 43, when Larry Dunn makes fun of Rufus and Cody, Kenny laughs at them, too. A true friend could have stood up for Rufus and Cody.

Wes Moore is the author of a novel that talks about a man with the same name as him and how his life varies from his own. There are three special social factors that set good and bad Wes apart from each other. Also there was a positive impact on the bad Wes when he participated in Job Corps when he was at the campus but it did not last very long when he went back home. Which once Wes headed back down the negative path again it would ultimately lead to his life imprisonment. But it seemed like prison turned out to have a good impact on Wes’ life but it will impact his children’s lives forever.

Unlike the book, the movie portrays him as a very friendly and likeable person. This is conflicting to the book were in reality Chris wasn’t always a nice person often times he was abrasive. A great example to this is that in the book, Chris’ relationship with Tracy is very one sided. Tracy has a huge crush on Chris but Chris doesn’t like her much. While the movie shows them dating.

The Coming Of Age Many people struggle to grow up and, being adults, but many do grow up. Phoebe and Stradlater teach about coming of age to Holden. They teach him things like not being childish and growing up, and how it 's okay to grow up. In the book Catcher In The Rye by J.D. Salinger, Stradlater, and Phoebe help develop the theme of coming of age by teaching Holden that he should himself and not be childish, accordingly how it 's okay to grow up. Holden struggles to grow up so Phoebe and Stradlater teach him some things about maturity and the coming of age.
