Colin Kaepernick a full time NFL player decided he wanted to Kneel during the national anthem because he was against the social injustice and racial profiling by cops in America mostly the cops in Colorado. Colin, who had never done this before or has ever protested against this before, sparked controversy around the country because people thought it was rude, controversial, a stunt and irresponsible use of his power with his fans. Since then Colin has joined protests against this and other big time and small players have since kneeled or sat down during the solute. Further more I thought what Colins thought of peaceful protesting was a correct thought but a rude and bad time to do what he did.

As Donald Trump said when addressing the Colin Kaepernick situation, “You should find a country that works better for him, let him try.” So if you do not like how America is treating you, just move to another country. If America is the country that does not give the respect you want then just move and try another country to see if they agree with your opinions. So quit your National sports team and move, no one in America will care and will support your decision because you are standing up for your beliefs without disrespecting America. Or speak out, make fundraisers to raise awareness about the situation so that will make everyone in America join and support you and help out the country then cause a whole troubled situation that will spread worldwide and cause a lot more controversies than it really should be. Now those people with color that are kneeling during the National Anthem will not get much better treatment because of how you are disrespecting our country. A controversial topic currently circulating throughout the media and society, is professional athletes kneeling during the National Anthem. In my opinion, this is a completely useless, unnecessary action done just for attention.

In this day and age, many believe racism to be an issue of the past, when as a matter of fact, it is still frequently impacting peoples lives all around the globe. Unfortunately, many issues regarding racism occur in the sporting world. In Australia, it occurs most often in Australian Rules Football, or in the major competition, AFL (Australian Football League). It is a widely accepted idea that the players and spectators of a sport, rather than the sport itself have a direct impact of inducing racism within that particular sport. Relating to the AFL, the main offenders of racism are the spectators, who are commonly abusing players of different race to them.

Ever since baseball began, the sport considered a white man’s game. The big names of baseball today belong to whites and many American born blacks have lost interest in America 's Pastime. If the MLB ever plans to rise up with the NBA and the NFL, the unintentional segregation needs to stop. Black players today still go through struggles even after 70 years since Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier. Since the beginning of baseball, racism has proved to be a major problem and still resonates today. While many try to put an end to this, the issues remain ongoing. Racism affected baseball long ago and still affects the sport today.

Every American child is raised with the knowledge that they were born in a country that by law gives them freedom of self-expression and the right to protest. However, this right does not mean that people must agree with you and in many cases, groups wind up at odds over differing opinions. Over the past few years America has seen many examples of this, most notably football players protesting injustice by kneeling during the anthem. The two sisters have brought inspiration to learn the game to a new generation of young African Americans, since they grew up in a poor neighborhood and became professionals. If they could beat the odds, then so could others. Before the Williams sisters conquered the women's tour, there were only a few racial minorities playing tennis either on the men's or women's side of tennis. But, since their meteoric rise, countless more have taken up the sport.

Racism in team names such as the Cleveland Indians and the Washington Redskins causes a lot of controversy because of the meaning of the name because it obscures the reality of Native Americans experiences, traditions, and place in U.S. history. Some people think that this isn’t really a problem but others want the teams to change their names because of how much they are bothered by it. I do not think teams should have to change their names because if the NFL or NBA doesn’t see a problem with the names then there probably isn’t a problem with it. People are probably over reacting over this thing.
