The Jews once lived in Palestine but with changing rulers they were eventually pushed out of the area that they called home. The Jews were forced to find homes in other areas and they ended up being under extreme discrimination in these other areas. So when the ruler in Palestine changed once again, they packed up and headed to the land that they called home. The Jews rebuilt their lives in Palestine and began to flourish. They were on their way to create a Jewish land. The Palestinians were not pleased to learn that their home was going to be taken over by the Jews so the United Nations got involved and split Palestine.
