Introduction to Boeing:
An Airplane is an Aircraft that has wings and is powered by propellers or jets. The first time the world ever saw manned flights in the sky was in 1903 when the Wright brothers created an Airplane and flew in it. They achieved to gain an altitude of 12 feet and travel a distance of 120 feet. Ever since Aircrafts have been of great importance and there is a very high demand for them. Airplanes are put to many uses such, as they are a very important means of transportation for people and for goods, all the armies in the world use them as well. Boeing one of the biggest multinational companies in the world that manufactures, designs and sells Aircrafts, Rockets and Satellites is based originally from Seattle, United States Of America. It is the second largest Aerospace contractor in the world and the largest in the United States of America. The Boeing has its headquarters in Chicago, USA. The chairman is Mr. James McNerney. According to the Fortune magazine "Fortune 500" list (2013) Boeing recorded sales up to $86.623 and is ranked 30th. Boeing has several products and designs and a total production output of approximately 750 aircrafts and 10 satellites. Boeing has helped the US Navy during World War 1 by producing the seaplanes. Boeing created its first commercial airplane in December 1960 called the 727 jetliner.
