The point of this article is basically being there for them, teach them how to be independence, have someone to be in their life that we care about them. When the kids have trouble of reading, spelling, studying, we tutorial them and give them practice skills to work on their weakness to work on. We teach them how to control their emotions. When you have a friendly relationship is to always let them know that you care about them and show them develop trust to them, have that special bond with them. It is important to teach students about the classroom rules, schools rules, daily routines, learn to practice new skills in the classroom and out of the classroom, and now their school schedule and outside of school schedule.
I believe this type of well-organized schedule helps the children to know what is expected of them. Also, the hands on approach between the students and the teacher allows for individualized learning for the children. Finally, I found their purposely using open ended questions to encourage the children into thinking for themselves during the Choice Time to be an excellent teaching method. 2. We need to observe the children in classrooms and carefully listen to their life experiences. By teaching the students to embrace all cultures and learn about them, it will create a unity in the classroom. Students then will feel safe and comfortable in the classroom (Gollnick & Chinn, 2012). It is no easy task to incorporate cultural knowledge throughout teaching. You must consciously think about multiculturalism as you interact with students and plan lessons and assignments (Gollnick & Chinn, 2012).

I have gained patience when working with children and I believe it is a skill that is required in order for children to exceed their needs and to help a child during transitions to reach their full potential. Timing is key and with support the children will be able to emotionally adapt to attending school but also embrace new surroundings. Encouragement while children are taking part in activities in school allows children to gain self-esteem and confidence as they are being motivated which can give them a sense of achievement. Being a role model to the children is a personal skill as it gives me pride knowing the children are inspired by me and that they can learn from me by using their own initiative, being helpful to others and allowing the children to give suggestions on what they would like to do can keep them
My role as a Teaching assistants is to support teachers and help children with their educational and social development in and out of the the classroom. This may mean working one 2 one, with small groups of children or supporting children with SEN or behaviour needs. My role means I have to work closely with teachers to make sure pupils enjoy learning in a safe and caring setting, having excellent interpersonal skills is paramount to the job as I will have to communicate effectively with teachers, pupils and parents. To be developmentally appropriate, teaching practices must be successful, especially in producing a favorable impression on children—they must promote to children’s ongoing development and learning. Children who are interested and engaged in the classroom activities and lessons learn more. By stimulating active interest and engagement, I guarantee that children will get the most out of the instructional opportunities demonstrated in the classroom. I present information using a variety of learning formats, including large and small groups, choice time (in interest areas), and routines. Routines such as eating snacks and transitioning from one activity to another are all possibly valuable learning situations if teachers use these activities as chances for one-on-one conversations with children or to support a learning objective through singing a song or reciting a rhyme.
Students should be taught at the level and in the way that they learn best. Not all adolescents are engaged in learning in the same environment. Some need hands-on situations and free time while others thrive with quiet spaces and strict lesson plans. If the educators are free to explore the curriculum, then they can mold it for the student which would lead to better education. With more control over curriculum, the testing process would also need to be altered.
