and the lives of your wives and concubines. 6 You love those who hate you and hate those who love you. You have made it clear today that the commanders and their men mean nothing to you. I see that you would be pleased if Absalom were alive today and all of us were dead.
Yes, despite the fact that his son was after his life, dethroned him and slept openly with his concubine, in a war between his army and his son’s army, King David still instructed the head of his army to protect Absalom. Nemesis, you would say, caught up with Absalom and he was suspended in the air by law of karma, before an angry warlord terminated his life. Yet, David still mourn this wicked son of his for months. What a strange heart of compassion (2Sam 18:5,12,14,29,33;

David did not merely serve his own generation; he did so by the will of God. This means he demonstrated the characters of God as expressed in Ps 145:8-9.
Ps 145:8-9

9 The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
OFFENDERS ARE GODLY ORNAMENT
Never shut your door against offenders, to avoid shutting that same door against the trinity and deny yourself of holy protection and breakthroughs. May be you knew it as the story of the prodigal son but many refer to it as the story of the forgiving father.
In this story, a son wishes his father dead within a short time and therefore demanded for his inheritance by fire by force while his father was yet alive. Only to return to his father later and plead that he be made one of his father’s servants after squandering his own inheritance. Luke 15:20
But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed
After all, King David was a warrior, a military leader that was responsible for many deaths, albeit to claim an earthly kingdom for God, many shed blood. Obviously addicted to power, for many, what makes this celestial favoritism even more compelling is David’s narcissism that often manifested as philandering with the wives of other men, and ultimately claiming them as his own.
In David’s past he grew up with a sister much younger than he was, with a heart defect,. When his sister died at age 12, he saw his mother in terrible grief. Therefor having to see his mother always grieving over his sister, he made a vast decision to
As correlated with the 23rd Psalm, David also showed his good and difficult experience when he wrote the 27th Psalm. Through this Psalm, David has presented a number of literary devices; such as use of questions, metaphor, imagery and symbolism. Verse one starts “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Here, David put forward two similar questions which relates to the statements presented before them.
"Blessed be Thou... for giving us life, for sustaining, and for enabling us to reach this day" (117). That is what Elie Wiesel, Holocaust survivor, said during his Nobel Prize Acceptance Speech in Oslo on December 10, 1986. Elie Wiesel, who was a Europeam Jew during the Holocaust, wrote a book called Night. It's about his life in the concentration camps and all the obstacles he faced during that time period of his life, including the death of his father. During the Holocaust, many Jews lost their identities, no longer feeling like the person they were before.
When he was provided with an opportunity to kill King Saul, and also King Saul’s last family member, he chose not to, a decision that was directly altered by his friendship with Jonathan. David also continued to practice his faith in God and several times throughout his reign, readers of the Old Testament discover that the decisions relating to battle and discipline took large amounts of faith from David, but that he truly trusted God and that his decisions paid of for
“The human body is the best work of art.” ― Jess C. Scott This is a quote John Proctor sure would have approved of. Arthur Miller’s The Crucible depicts the last days of the life of John Proctor. In this short time, John Proctor goes through many changes that support Miller’s theme that love is more enduring that lust.
2) Forgiveness The Devine Mother searches your soul and reminds you of all kinds of acts, omissions, I was able to forgive others as I am not a malicious person but I could not forgive myself of past mistakes, I was led to read a book I had bought after I heard Bob Proctor give a talk about “Working with the Law” by Raymond Holliwell, on his Chapter on forgiveness I had the strangest feeling about my unforgiveness of myself, I was for days consumed with fear of past mistakes and I was terified, I spoke to my two oldest children about my fears and they thought I was being too harsh on my self. I was reminded by the Holy Spirit that unforgiveness of past mistakes has been the cause of my anger and inability to progress because I considered myself

“For the happy man prayer is only a jumble of words, until the day when sorrow comes to Explain to him the sublime language by mean of which he speaks to God” (Dumas 41). Dantes is narrating his thoughts in this quote, He is feeling very dejected and mournful in Prison. This quote also emphasize how humans only call upon on god when they are in need of miracles. 3.
How would you feel if you were treated differently because of what you believed in? Well in 1933-1945 the Jewish people were singled out with the Star of David. They were discriminated against for believing in something different and were labeled with the Star of David. The Jews may have been singled out using the Star, but they still used the symbol on all their building and places of worship. The Star of David is important because it comes from the Jewish King David.

In the two short stories, “Young Goodman Brown,” by Nathaniel Hawthorne and “The Prodigal Son,” by St. Luke there is a parallel struggle of faith. Nathaniel Hawthorne’s short story, “Young Goodman Brown” is a very dark tale of mystery and deceit that surrounds a young man’s test of true faith in his battle against the evil one. In the parable of “The Prodigal Son,” Christ gives the reader a picture of God’s unfailing love toward His children and His ever constant surrounding presence. Faith is tested in each of these stories and the choice becomes to either succumb to this evil world, turn to God, or perhaps something else altogether. Although each story differs in climactic endings, both protagonists in each story reflect the struggle of one’s very soul by their reluctance to fully submit to God.
My family knows that we when we ascend to heaven, David will be there. Jesus has made His promise to us by reassuring us that we will go to
That is a good and relevant question. Some marry in haste and live to regret it later. We want to seek out a godly spouse.
