CHAPTER TEN Frantic Flight to Yellow Rock Jacob charged across the crest, his feet beating divots into the dirt. “Come on!” We bolted down the far side of the rock face toward the creek, the three of us slipping on crumbling stones until we hit level ground and could climb onto our horses. I was sure Seth’s horse, Promise, was going to barrel straight up the ridge, but she veered sharply to the right and galloped off in the opposite direction.

This “muscled ribbon, brown as fruitwood, soft-furred” weasel with “pure white fur [and] two black eyes” convinced Dillard of a better way of life (Dillard 69-75). Now, she chooses to share that one stunningly still moment where their “look was as if two lovers, or deadly enemies, met unexpectedly on an overgrown path”(Dillard 82-83). Because, in that moment that dramatic feeling she felt will aid her in establishing an emotionally charged state of mind to ensnare her audience. If she is able to express the tone of that perfect moment of understanding correctly, she can connect to the dramatic or romantic side found in the idealists who believe they can change their lives. All these dramatic words, work to create what seems like a fairy tale, yet a very obtainable fairy tale in which life could feel complete.

First we started out with Silent reading our books, and then moved onto reading with our guided reading books. Next, we would move onto writing, where some days we free wrote and others we had an assignment. After Writing we had specials, which consisted of, art, P.E, computer, and music. Then we had lunch, math, and lastly social studies and science.
Beowulf killed him with no remorse and ate him. An hour goes by and Beowulf walks back out and his stomach is finally satisfied, with blood all over him. Lady Macbeth starts freaking out saying ¨ get the blood of MEEEE¨. No one Pi and The knight didn't see any blood and just left her go to the
Mckenna, I too wrote about the mindless monster and the negative effects it can have on someone. It's crazy to think about the lengths people will go to please someone and will overwork themselves to make sure others are happy. I believe that the only way to be truly happy is to make sure you're good first. The other aspect I agree with was your point on body language. That is something I need to work on a lot as well.
Like all fairy tales, the prince comes into the woman’s life and rescues her from whatever trouble she in. In Butler’s fiction story, it is evident
Leon walked the corridor leading to the royal quarters. The silence of the halls and the echoing of his footsteps in the once lively castle stood out as a stark reminder of the new normal that had come over the kingdom. Arthur had been gone nearly a month now and the pall that still reigned over the castle and Camelot in general was evident. Guinevere was doing her best to maintain composed in an uncertain time, but he knew she was struggling.

When he approached the barrier of dark twisted thorns, the section before him transformed into a bush blooming with pink blossoms. I followed close behind him as he made his way through the branches. As he stepped away from the flowers, they transformed back into the tangled thorns. I had seen enough to know that he was pure of heart. The spell was minutes away from being lifted; the second he entered the stone castle, I took down the wall of thorns and went back to my humble

From climbing up seven hundred foot cliffs to fighting off unusually large rodents, The Princess Bride is the story of an adventure that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. It is a romance narrative surrounding the cliché, the hero always gets the girl. We follow the protagonist Westley as he sets out on an action filled journey driven by his love for a woman named Buttercup. Certain characters such as princes, henchman, and witches are distinctively characterized during a romance narrative, but in The Princess Bride they inhabit alternative roles which contribute to this light hearted tale. The manipulation of tropes, commonly recurring literary devices, give a comedic feel to this intriguing and twist filled storyline.
Overcoming “The” Struggle I don’t recall having a hard time learning how to read. It was one of those things that just came easily to me for some reason. For the most part I enjoyed reading as well. The only time I didn’t enjoy reading was when I didn’t understand a certain word or a certain phrase.
King Duncan then decided he would go to Macbeth 's house for dinner where Lady Macbeth had already been made aware of the situation with the witches and that Macbeth was not named king. When Macbeth arrives home she suggests they kill him, after he declines, she starts questioning his manhood and peer pressures him until he decides to kill Duncan. This act scarred the two sons of Duncan so they fled the country and Macbeth was crowned. Obviously the play ends with Macbeth as the villain, dethroned and beheaded.
