HYPOTHESIS If mobile phones emit electromagnetic waves, electromagnetic radiation and heat, then I do not believe that it can cause brain damage because the electromagnetic waves and radiation are simply not strong enough to cause brain damage. MOBILE PHONES AND ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION According to the UN, with the estimated 7 billion people on the planet, over 6 billion of these people have access to mobile phones, meaning that if mobile phones do pose a threat to the human brain, most people are in danger. In 2011, International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified mobile phone radiation as Group 2B – possibly carcinogenic. That means that there "could be some risk" of carcinogenicity, so additional research into the long-term, heavy use of mobile phones needs to be conducted. The World Health Organisation added in June 2011 that "to date, no adverse health effects have been established as being caused by mobile phone use", a point they reiterated in October 2014. When the cell signal on a mobile phone is low, the electromagnetic radiation released by the cellphone will be more. The phone will also release more electromagnetic radiation if it is in a small and compact space such as an elevator. All mobile phones, especially newer smart phones emit non-ionizing Electromagnetic Radiation. When radiation is non-ionizing, it means that it cannot break chemical bonds or remove electrons as its energy is insufficient to do so. These Electromagnetic radiations can
