Emma is actually a decent student though, no matter what people think about the “popular group” of kids at school, Emma is part of them and still a good student. She normally gets Bs and B+s for grades, and listens and learns when necessary. Did I mention that she can be a pain? “Yeah, right.” I argued. “You might think so, but maybe he’ll be home early because he actually wants to get home then to see mom and help clean up the house.” “Why would he do that?” Emma stated “Because he cares about our family!” I responded sharply “Maybe I’ll pick you guys up from school early today to come greet him when he comes home from deployment.” My mother said, a smile on her
She also likes spending time with her family. what she does during the day is that she is at school, or doing school work and helping around the house. The type of stories she likes to write about are fiction, non-fiction, fantasy, and mystery, and Her favorite stories she like to write about are fiction. She wrote this story because it taught her a lesson. Also why she writes stories is to inspire other people.
In school she also enjoyed to play outside, but during recess you would find Marie somewhere in the corner reading a book. Marie enjoyed learning, she looked up to her father who was a very smart man. Her father always said, “When you’re smart they can’t take that away, they can take your money, put you in jail and throw away a key, but they can’t take your education”. This quote she too lived by. Marie knew her only way out of poverty was to remain sharp on her education skills because this would take her far.
This book will make kids feel sad, happy, and excited for the main character Paco. The things Paco goes through in this book are things similar to the things kids that get adopted or put into foster care goes through. The lesson in this book is that no matter how happy you think you are, having a group of people who support you will always make you happier. This is important because some second graders who were adopted go through some tough times and think that they only need themselves. This book is for second graders, these students appreciate having a family who loves them.
The Outsiders is considered a cult classic and is typically assigned reading across the U.S. She always loved reading but did not like the books they had for young adults so she decided to write some herself. Mrs. Flowers is teaching Marguerite to approach books with critical thinking skills to enhance her own learning experience. She wants Marguerite to exercise, reading out loud and move out of her comfort zone despite her resistance to even converse with others. The benefits of children reading not only strengthen their intellect, but “The words of the story act as mirrors in which the children’s conflicts and feelings –fear, jealousy, aggressiveness, loneliness, and the need, the wish of being loved and accepted– are reflected while offering the child fictional alternatives and solutions” (Stockar, par. 35).
I have always liked to know why things happen, and then, I love explain those things to someone, teach him. When I was younger, I used to pretend to be the teacher while playing with my little sister; I liked giving her homework, ask her questions, tests, teach her different stuffs. Since I was little I have felt attracted to educate, transmit my knowledge to others, but first it is necessary learn, and then teach. My school really helped with that, with its educational model Gourdieff, I developed love for learning new things, from different areas, I gained motivation for knowledge. When I graduated from school, I was awarded as the “Etievan spirit”, prize that reflect my personality; respectful, honest and also confirms my love for learn.
My experience with co-teaching has been beneficial for my class especially for the ELLs and the monolingual students. When my mentor is teaching, my lowest students sit in a different table with me. Differentiation has helped them because they get additional help, clarification of any misconceptions, restating of key vocabulary or key points and also they get to use manipulatives that might help them understand a concept better. This differentiation has helped as they are testing higher in math and two ELL students are now reading at grade level. Co-teaching allows both teachers to work together and it allows for many instructional strategies.

Better Reading claims that there are four main reasons why children favor reading book series: familiarity, accomplishment, reading momentum, and collectability. Many are overwhelmed when they have to choose a new book to read; however, if all the young readers have to do is pick the next one in the series, they will feel more at ease. Furthermore, children feel accomplished after completing many novels because they are capable of reading more after developing literacy skills. “A Series of Unfortunate Events” is a very popular series, and these four justifications make it much more enjoyable. Good writing stems from a strong foundation of reading skills. I remember sitting in the library of Griswold Elementary School listening to the librarian Mrs. Church telling us how if we are good readers we are good writers. As the group of eager little children that we were, writing was something that we loved to do and participated in often, so a chance of becoming better at it just made us want to read more. In this same library, the PTO held the annual Scholastic Book Fair, this event allowed kids to browse a selection of books and develop a understanding of the personal book genre that they enjoy. As children, you love to read and are encouraged to do so by your parents, friends and teachers.
