Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor changed the fate of the war. This single attack brought the United States into World War II. For two years before this attack America didn’t fight in this war, but this attack ultimately changed the outcome of the war. For the first two years the United States did not fight in World War II, but they did supply resources to allies. America did not want to be a target for enemy countries.
