The Roman Empire was, without a doubt, one of the most impressive governing body ever in its time. Its military was among one of the finest around. The economy thrived with citizens with a healthy income. With amazing advancements in its culture, the Roman society was at its best time. Many different problems had slowly started to assist Rome in its falling. Rome fell because the city had experienced so many emperors dying, they had untrained soldiers, and because of a series of plagues and natural disasters.
Document A had mentioned that Rome fell because they had experienced so many emperors dying and being replaced. This assisted the falling of Rome because the rules were constantly changing. Most of the emperors had died due to be assassinated

This had availed the falling of Rome because without adept soldiers, there is no protection of the city. The soldiers were untrained because they were lazy. Lazy and untrained soldiers have no place in guarding a city. If a group comes to attack the city, the soldiers are going to have no idea how to deal with the intruders. Along with the soldiers not being trained, they also never were there to guard the towers they were assigned. The soldiers don't really have to worry about being trained if they are never in the place they are needed. This may have been an ample reason that Rome fell. With the chance of enemies coming to attack with untrained soldiers plus them not watching out for the city on top of that, the city was bound to fall apart eventually. When the soldiers were where they were assigned, they were always complaining how heavy the armor was. This hurt the city a lot. While they complained about the armor, they didn't use it. The soldiers had all fought the Goths without any protection at all. They were often beaten by archers. When the armor was worn the complained nonstop because they weren't used to the weight of it. They first asked the emperor to set aside the breastplates. After a while, they asked the emperor to set aside the helmets. Although there were many disasters, which led to the loss of the city, no one had wanted to restore the breastplates and helmets to infantry. This
One of the biggest reasons Rome fell is because the military. The military started to become sluggish and weak. Since this happened soldiers fought the goths without any protection for their chests and heads (doc B.) This made it so soldiers were easily killed in battle by archers. Adding on to that Soldiers were exposed to wounds because they have no armour so they would think about running and not fighting (doc B.) Senators, bureaucrats, clergymen, cooks, bakers, and slaves all avoided the draft not giving enough people into to military (doc B.)
One important reason for the fall of Rome was natural disasters. In document F it shows that the population decreased from a million people to two hundred and fifty thousand because of the plague. This problem helps explain why Rome fell because it shows that thousands of people died, meaning there were less people. With less people in Rome many jobs are not being
The first reason for the "Fall" of Rome was the chart of emperors. The chart of the emperor's in Document A I chose this as my first reason because the chart of emperors was a big thing during the "Fall" of Rome because one time there were 19 emperors in a 50-year time period. But there were also multi emperors at once. but 12 of those emperors were assassinated during their time of serving as a emperor, but not one of the emperors died because of a natural cause.
The fall of Rome was a horrible period for Rome,It lasted almost 2 and a half centuries. It went through many things that at the end played a role in the fall. Like tax fraud and Government issues. During this time period there was a lot of sadness, pain, and evil that happened, and it is hard to remember that this is the world we used to live in. THst there were bad rulers who continued to rule but we had good rulers who got killed.
The fall of Rome was mainly because of plagues wiping out most of the population. The fall of the Han dynasty began from decentralized rule. However, outside invasions had an effect on the fall of both classical civilizations. Series of plagues began to hit the Rome Empire by the 2nd century. These plagues lowered the population drastically.
So because of the Roman soldier being replaced by German mercenaries and the stoppage of expansion the Roman military lost its power. When the invasions of the western tribes came and destroyed Rome, there was nothing they could
There were three significant reasons for the fall of Rome. Military problems, legal injustice, and foreign invasions. Of these the most important reason was Rome’s military problems. One important reason that Rome fell was because of Rome’s legal injustice system. Evidence that this was a problem is that in Document E it states “Taxes are very severe...
Given these reasons, it can be concluded of how Rome fell. Rome was too big and when plagues were brought over and were spread, it decreased the population and hassled the economic life because they didn’t have the resources to pay back the Germanic soldiers. When social and military issues came into play, it led to great cities being lost. Lastly, the reason the contributed the most to the fall of Rome was the weak or selfish emperors and the state being ruined because the government was not following the spirit of past
Our soldiers fought the Goths without any protection for the chest and head and were often beaten by archers. (doc B) My 2nd reason for the fall of Rome is their military mismanagement. The reason why I say their military was mismanaged is that doc B shows how the roman soldiers were getting lazy and not wanting to wear their armor in practice to the point when they got in a battle and they would die easily. The last reason for the fall of Rome is the natural disasters the Roman world was
What were the primary reasons for the “fall” of Rome? Rome fell because of many other reasons but the main reason Rome fell were because of weak leadership, military weakness and economic problems here is why. One reason Rome fell was because of weak leadership. According to document A Roman leaders would die because of assassination, suicide and because of natural causes. Romans would become leaders and would die because of assassination and a few would die because of natural causes.
The Roman empire was one of the most powerful or the most powerful empire in ancient times. A portion of this can be credited to its location in an area with good geography and climate. However, once the empire was vast enough its geography varied quite a bit. It went from the moderate climate of northern Italy too much warmer climates in northern Africa. In Italy, the central part of the empire, stood the city of Rome.
This time would be difficult for citizens as Rome began to fall. Expansion became the enemy of Rome because they couldn’t keep all of the cities in
While that was happening a civil war was going on. The military was in bad shape and was interfering with the politics. The three Major causes of the the Fall of Rome were Economic Problems, Socico-Politcal problems, and external invasions that lead to the country not being able to protect itself. Economically
