The Fault In Our Stars is a book by author John Green. Most ambitious and heartbreaking work as they said, its thrilling and tragic of being alive and in love. Despite the tumor, her medical miracle that has bought a few years, Hazel has never been anything but stable, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist between her and a guy named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at a Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten. John Green is an award-winning, New York Times- bestselling author. And is known for making dramatic, romantic stories.

Hazel and Augustus finally meet Van Houten but are shocked to find that he is a mean, cranky spirited drunk. shocked by Van Houten's behavior, Lidewij confesses that she arranged the meeting on his behalf, angering Van Houten, who proceeds to insult Hazel's sickness starting an argument and causing Hazel and Augustus to flee from the drunken author's home.
Augustus revealed that his cancer has returned. The two continued their love for each other. When they returned to Indianapolis, Augustus's health got worse than ever and he ends up in the hospital for a few days. Facing the depression upon his sickness, Augustus invites Isaac and Hazel to his pre-funeral kuno, where they give eulogies for him. An extremely sick Augustus dies soon after. This leaves Hazel crying and she doesn't know what to do with herself. After the event of his death, Van Houten shows up at Augustus's funeral so that he can apologize to Hazel.
Hazel learns that Augustus was writing a sequel to An Imperial Affliction. Hazel reads Augustus's words. He says “getting hurt in this world is inevitable, but we do get to choose who we allow to hurt us.” and that he is happy with his choice, and hopes she likes her choice too. The book ended with Hazel saying that she is happy with her
