Unlike the business marketing, the political marketing goal or aim is gaining the peoples’ attention or moving or motivating a group of people to do a certain thing or convincing a group of people with a certain idea, rather than gaining profit, so anyway at first the political marketing aims and goals are totally different from those of the business marketing. For the Temperance movement the main intention was to win the people over the idea that alcohol was to be for temperate use. Instead, in the end game, it was brought to an extreme and alcohol was banned from the US, at least the sale of it. For the Abolition movement starting intention was to make an effort to stop slavery because of the part of the Declaration of Independence that states that “all men are equal.” In the end game though for the Abolitionists, they got got their goal, but it had some negative effects on how they were treated in society and mostly public.
