Purpose #4: You were shaped for serving God The fourth purpose deals with our spirit of service toward God. We are not on earth to waste the natural resources of the globe. We are created to serve God. He has chosen us to do his will and to make a contribution. It was the plan of God that we will be useful to Him, it is not because we deserve it. The author said that we are saved for his service. Every member of God’s body is called to serve Him in different ways, through different situations: that is what is called ministry.
