“I tried to sit up, and saw that the soc’s were getting into their cars and leaving.” which means the soc’s lost the rumble and are running to their cars to get away. In the movie you hear music of winning, so you can infer that the greasers won the rumble and you feel better for the grazers than in the book. The book was good on how the character were thinking and not a good picture in head on what's going on. Movie was better at showing what's going on and feeling for characters bit not good on telling what's going on in characters head. While the book and movie have many similarities and differences, the movie was more effective in telling the story. To begin the movie scene was better, because the music and sound effects you really get to see what's going on in the movie and get a better picture in the movie than the book. “Somebody kicked me hard in the ribs and I yelped in spite of myself. some soc had knocked me out one of the four bunched and was kicking me as hard as he can.” In both the movie and the book in this …show more content…
some soc had knocked me out one of the four bunched and was kicking me as hard as he can.”, “I tried to sit up, and saw that the soc’s were getting into their cars and leaving.” was comparable in the book and movie versions of The Outsiders. The soc’s get up and started heading to their cars. The soc’s lost the rumble and they did a limp run to the car to get away from the greasers. one similarity of the movie and book was pony still gets beat up. Another is I still felt the same for both I felt sad for PB. One difference was you can hear music and sound effects in the movie and not in the book. You can really feel for PB and the greasers, and can really get a picture on what is going on in the movie. The movie was more effective during this scene because it really shows and gives a picture of how the soc’s do what they did better than a
The book explains more about slavery. The movie makes slavery appear very easygoing and mild. When the book makes it appear very real and how slavery actually was. In the book it talks about pit schools and the movie doesn't even discuss them.
In my opinion there are a lot of comparisons between the film and the book, but there are also differences between them too, but also they have impacted the audience in both the film and the
One thing that is different in the movie then the book is the Soc’s drive a blue mustang in the movie, but in the book the Soc’s drive a red corvair. Another thing that is different is the vacant lot in the movie is a dirt lot that is surrounded by trees, grass, and bushes with a rode that drives right by it. But in the book the vacant sounds like a old lot that was used for parking cars like at a school u got a parking lot for cars, so that's what i think of it when the story was talking about a vacant lot. In the book when the rumble went down the authors described it as a fight in the dark with gang against gang. In the movie the rumble was a fight right as the sun went down and it was raining hard and everyone was
The book shows the effectiveness of the small town of Odessa. But the movie shows the effectiveness of the football team. But only in the book does it go into great depths about the history of the town. It describes the town 's boom and bust years. It also goes into great detail about rival cities and their boom and bust years.
The details in the book made me begin to picture it in my head, and I felt like I learnt and understood it much more than when we watched the movie. Krystyna describes her experience in the sewers in the book, but in the movie they take that away and focus more on everyone else. They focus more on the love story between the Pirate and Klara and less on the Chigers. They show how he risked his life by leaving the sewer to search for Klara's missing sister and they show them beginning to fall in love. They shifted the attention from being less about family, and more about love.
In both the movie and the novel there are many similarities. One of them is when Ponyboy and Johnny go to the park. The Socs come and drown Ponyboy and Johnny kills Bob. I believe they chose to keep this in both the novel and the movie because this is the cause of the runaway and the climax of the story.
Another difference is that in the movie they go into town, but in the book it 's never mentioned. Something else that was different was that in the book the mood was happy most of the time, while in the movie the mood was sad. A difference between the book and the movie is that in the book momma was going to burn Byron, but in the movie she does not burn him. A big difference is that in the
Daniel Aguirre Ms. Tobias English III GT - 6th 12 January 2017 After analyzing both the movie and the novel, I have discovered similarities and differences. Ill try to compare and contrast the two since the movie does not depict the story exactly as how the novel does. Similarities There were still some similarities in the film that tied back to the book. One of the main ones is when Nick walks to Gatsby’s backyard and finds him standing at the edge of his dock reaching out to what was a green light.
There are many simularities and differences in the book and movie " The
The movie The cry in the wild does a better job telling the story than the book. I believe this cause the movie gives more details than the book. Also, in the movie gives more foreshadowing than the book. For example,in the book Brain’s had when to sleep and dream about the time when him and his dad were camping. The next day, Brain got up and when hunting for fish.
In the end I found the film to be easier to understand vs the book as it was an easier and more straight forward plot line whereas in the book it seemed to jump around leading to constant flipping between stories and pages to get a better
The Differences The novel The Natural by Bernard Malamud displays a tragic story about a man with many flaws show extraordinary skills in baseball, with a depressing ending of disgrace. The movie, however, displays the story of a respectable guy dealing with a few unlucky happenings while also showing his natural talent in the sport of baseball. The movie and the book have some big differences include Iris, who she is and her relation with Roy, Roy’s aspects, and the ending. The two works have clear differences that arguably change the story totally.
This is due to the fact that both battles practically develop in the same way. In both battles there is an initial task which is accomplished by defeating the villain. As news of the harm reaches the hero, the hero decides to act and leaves home, to battle the villains. Victory is finally achieved after combat and therefore, the initial hurt is repaired. There were not a lot of similarities between the book and the movie; at least not a lot that stood out.
The book has a descriptive language, it has suspense and keeps you intrigued, and you can feel the emotions. The first reason I prefer the book over the movie is the descriptive language it uses. You can see the descriptive language everywhere in the book, which fascinates me and allows me to imagine the scene clearly and even feel how it would be like if I was in that scene. An example of the descriptive language was shown on page 15 “
I enjoyed the movie better than the book. It included just the right amount of action scenes, description words, and details from the story. The story was amazing but I like seeing things more than reading them. I usually like the movies better than the book.
