In Dr. Seuss’s poem “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas”, the author focuses on Marxism and the effects it has on society. Marxism or Marxist criticism analysis literature in an economical view point and considers the main issues to be economical privilege or lack thereof. In the poem, it starts off stating that the Grinch did not like Christmas because “his head wasn't screwed on just right.
