In a lot of fiction stories, there is a heroic character. Odysseus for example, is a heroic character. He exhibits those qualities because of the god he is. Odysseus world was harsh. A world familiar with violence. A heroic character is someone that is a hero in their own way. Odysseus is one of them because he is smart. For example, when odysseus and all of his men were fighting the trojans and they couldn't get in the walls because they were massive. Odysseus built a wooden horse and hid some soldiers in it and the trojans rolled into their home and the greeks opened up the gates to let odysseus and his men to get in there.
