Unemployment is an issue in all regions of the world but the rate at which it affects each country is different. The unemployed are unhappier, more likely to experience a range of health issues, and face difficulties in integrating back into the labour market place (Bell and Blanchflower, 2009). One potential way of integrating young people into the labour market is to increase youth entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs are the backbone of our economy. In order to earn a living and become independent most people seek to become employees without exploring the possibilities of becoming an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship is not only a form of employment but also a way of realising innovative ideas and solutions. Entrepreneurship creates jobs, fosters wealth for society as a whole and, particularly via social entrepreneurship, contributes to community development, supports environmental sustainability and produces social capital. With high levels of youth unemployment, entrepreneurship is increasingly seen and proposed to young people as an alternative way to be active in the labour market, get income and realise their potential. However, the number of young people that engage in entrepreneurial activities is still relatively low. In Africa and the developing world generally, lack of or poorly developed entrepreneurial capacity is one of the main factors that contribute to the continent’s poor socio-economic performance (Themba & Josiah, 2015)

Africa In World Politics: Engaging a Changing Global Order by John Harbenson and Donald Rothchild gives an analysis of how Africa has changed from being a European ruled colonial nation to a nation that it creating a name for itself in the global sphere. Beginning with Africa’s politics during the colonial era through the present. The book provides not only details about Africa but also how the changing world has affected African politics. The main focus of this book is to show the growth Africa has had since its time of colonization. Africa has grown as the world has changed although it has had to deal with internal conflicts and demands for political change due to its authoritarian regimes.
Although African reaction to the presence of external actors could, in some cases, be appropriately described as defiant, resistance did not exclusively define African attitudes toward the outside. The capacity and willingness to collaborate with European influences lends credence to the re-interpretation of Africa as an entity with agency, just as European states have typically been understood. African political units were just like other political entities throughout history in that they employed strategies according to their domestic and foreign policy interests. Following elementary diplomatic logic, African political units would collaborate with European powers where it was conducive to their interests and goals.

In order to understand how immigration policies, special visas and entry requirements attract immigrants entrepreneurs into the United States. As well as understanding immigrant entrepreneurs in terms of what type of contributions to the economy they make, differences across ethnic groups and entrepreneurial success. Immigrant entrepreneurs are not a uniform group and hence their experiences and contributions vary widely across ethnic and source country groups. I was to learn more on how self-employment is associated with some upward economic mobility for disadvantaged immigrant workers, and also seeing the groups that are characterized by relatively low skill levels that may not experience the same degree of success as those with higher levels
So Europe invaded Africa, took possession of Africa, and divided Africa into colonies of Europe. The period of invasion, lasting some twenty years, was more or less completed by 1900. There followed a longer period, between sixty and ninety years, of direct European rule, called colonial rule. This was a time of profound upheaval for all of Africa’s peoples. It brought irreversible changes” (4).
However, in the present society, the majority of Africans vote democratic. There is a wide array of reasons to support this point of view. Things started to change during the 1930s Great Depression with the New Deal brought forward by Franklin
What if your whole life, every move you made, was always controlled by someone else? Well now you know how the Africans felt during the 1840s, all the way through the 1960s, when Colonialism and imperialism existed the Europeans controlled everything the African people did even if that meant lying to them and breaking promises that they made. Before the Europeans came, Africans had already been trading with other parts of the world. The biggest motivation the European had was their economic growth. They also found vast reserves of gold and diamond.

Many youth are unemployed because they have just come from high school and they do not have enough work experience to get a job. Adults are more likely to be unemployed because of physical and mental health challenges. Adults also tend to be unemployed because of cyclical, structural and frictional unemployment. Unemployment also goes into hand with homelessness and panhandling, because there is not enough jobs people are ending up homeless and looking for other ways to get money. Why are youth more likely to be unemployed than adults, and is unemployment among youth becoming a social problem?
Entrepreneurship in the Philippines is currently booming and one of the best things a person can do today is start taking action in putting up its own business or acquiring a franchise (Louren, 2017). Entrepreneurship is a state of mind. It is not identified or measured with the type of business a person is in the success of that business but rather it is the total way of life for entrepreneurs. Being an entrepreneur requires distinct personality traits such as having a risk-taking personality, need for achievement, internal focus of control, tolerance for ambiguity and having a type A behavior or striving to achieve more in less time and general competitiveness (Gilles and Mondejar, 2008). Entrepreneurship has been described as the “capacity and willingness to develop, organize and manage a business venture along with any of its risks in order to make a profit” (www.businessdictionary.com).
