The feminist movement since early has made a great impact on the world in developing the social status of woman and fighting for her rights in the poor as well as rich countries to a very large extent. However, in the second half of the 20th century, some cons of feminism have appeared as a deviance of the real aim of this movement to creating enmity against men and attacking family. Fay Weldon is one of feminists who is aware of this issue and portrays it in her novel "The Life and Loves of a She-Devil (1983)" to expose negative impact of excessive liberty. It seems that the feminism has originated of a noble aim to encourage the empowerment of women but it becomes creating some enmity between women and men and monstrous woman in society.

The term feminism originally, is a very complicated issue with a long history, emerged in the late 1800’s and appeared first in France and the Netherlands as a movement of a noble aim in an attempt to fight for women’s rights. In about 1910, it moved to the United States.
