A healthy lifestyle means a form of an individual practices by an individual to reduce risk of illness (Lewis, 2011). While, the World Health Orgnization declared that “Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” Both statements show that how crucial an act can affect a person’s health thus a healthy lifestyle is needed to ensure a healthy life thus it requires persistence and dedication in terms of eat healthy food, exercise regularly, and manage stress which are the aspects of a healthy lifestyle as it improves the health and reduced the chances of getting diseases.
To maintain a good healthy lifestyle, the first and foremost step is to eat healthy food. These days, food and eating environments likely contribute to the increasing epidemic of obesity and chronic diseases, over and above individual factors such as knowledge, skills, and motivation (Story, 2008). In a normal situation people do experience stress. Smith and Segal s siblings (2015) defined stress as the involvement of a body response as in an automatic process as the “fight-or-flight-or-freeze” reaction, or known better as the stress response can be helpful during hard times especially in emergency situations such as spurring and break in avoiding accidents. Stressors-sources of stress are caused by work or it can also come from an unhealthy lifestyle.
