Americanism, also known as patriotism, can be celebrated through various activities at local or national level. Not all activities will affect the U.S.A. wholly, but promoting Americanism in local communities may lead to a ripple effect that would leave an impact on the populous across the region or even for generations. The Americanism sensation can be brought about through different community or school events such as food drives, blood drives, and running or walking marathons to promote causes. Of course, a patriot may start projects or organizations that could spread to other states due to its popularity. Just by telling others on what they can do to increase the positivity of the community, this has a possibility of a domino effect where the listener will tell others and those listeners will continue the chain until it is a very large congregation that all know the ways to assist in the Americanism feeling. In turn, the verbal promotion of patriotism can grow exponentially, ensuring that a majority of the congregation will seek ways of assisting their own community in any way they can. To clarify, people should attempt to tell others truthfully without selectively picking the facts to provide since such actions may lead to the recipient to misunderstand a given topic. By only giving people facts without the full context or facts that are made up to assist with the person’s personal agenda, distrust and resentment may grow within the community once the lie is found out. Disappointingly, people are sometimes kept in a echo chamber full of lies where the lies run rampant and the truth can never be found out, leaving the victims to believe in the lies that are told around them. Such actions will divide the community over what they see as right and wrong. The feud should not be a symbol of what Americans do as a nation, so patriots should attempt to research topics before relaying the information to others and stop telling half-truths to push their own biased agendas.
As such, promoting Americanism and the overall peaceful feeling is a wonderful goal to reach within a community. Patriotism should be a place where everyone in the congregation will contribute to making the community or even world a better place by doing the small stuff in the masses. Every small step is still a step closer to making the United States of America a place that people should be proud of. Note the word proud, it does not mean the citizens should see other countries are inferior to the U.S.A, but rather feel
