Why did you choose your proposed course and institution?
Indonesia is one of the countries which has the diversity of flora and fauna because this country is a tropical country. Each of region in Indonesia has the different type of plant and animal and has its own characters in adaptation, breeding, and reproduction. The diversity of plant and animal in Indonesia is used to support the economic society and it can show Indonesia as a country that is rich with biodiversity. Not only that, the existence of plant and animal in nature will balance the natural ecosystem.
Aceh is one of the areas that supply the biodiversity for Indonesia, especially in Seulawah Mountain and Leuser ecosystem. Many environmental problems like human activity occur in those of areas such as deforestation, opening the forest land …show more content…

I will play a role in conducting research about it. Knowing the animal behavior is the best way to avoid the conflict between human and animal, with the knowledge I have gained in Australia I will help the society to find out the effective solutions to solve the elephant conflict. The second, I will be a research in biodiversity and conservation in Aceh. I will join with my lecture who is doing the research about the biodiversity in Leuser Ecosystem. I have experience about this research because my previous research is also about habitat and behavior animal in Seulawah Aceh. This research will give the information for the society that conservation is essential to do because it can balance the ecosystem and avoid us from disasters.
