Imagine going to your English class and your professor says to put on some funky glasses on. You do, and you step into the world of Shakespeare. You’re there, standing in The Globe Theatre in all its glory. What better way of learning about Taming of the Shrew than watching it live? These funky glasses are VR Glasses. With the help of technology, professors can have new ways of teaching materials that are more interactive than before. Automation is part of our everyday lives, from our phones, computers to our jobs. Many people are concerned that Automation will take over all our jobs, but I think that it will not take over, but work alongside with employees. There is so much automation already used in schools. From educators to office personnel. Music teachers use tempo markers to keep time. Sound boards, recording devices, microphones, all these things help the educators, not take their job. Core class educators can give a test on a bubble sheet, then a scanner corrects the tests and gives the grade, saving teachers much more time to do other important things like lesson plans. Some schools are using automation for safety. Students carry ID’s to scan in for attendance, and guests can have a guest pass so the school will know at all times who is in the building. …show more content…
