Every human being grows up dreaming about becoming who he has always been wishing to be in the future, he keeps planning for it and aims for it until he reach it. However, he ends up finding that nothing comes easy and he needs to work hard to reach his goal. After a certain period, that person becomes a grown-up man or woman who has lots of responsibilities to take care of, whether it’s their academic, their work, or their social life. Everyone often hear that there should be balance in one’s life on every single level. What is balance then? But that idea changed after World War II with the Servicemen's Readjustment Act of 1944, better known as the GI Bill of Rights. They should learn how to manage their time and how get organized. Finally, here are some few steps that a college students can follow in order to find that balance: In the first place, each student has to set a realistic goal that he’s almost sure that he could able to reach, don’t set high goals that you can’t achieve. When setting a goal, it shouldn’t be limited on the academic life only, let it be for other aspects of campus life. Second, try to avoid procrastination because it will ruin your schedule, learn how to better manage your time. One of the most important reason why students feel stressed and their lives are out of balanced is when time management awakens within them. A student has to prioritize his time, find time to study, exercise, eat, sleep, work, and the most important thing to find time for himself. Third, each student has to plan a schedule, make a weekly to-do-list, prioritize your work, break large tasks into their smaller components, set deadlines for projects, avoid perfectionism, honestly assess the amount of time you waste in order to fix it the next
