Ethics are principles or standard that guide day to day business activities in accordance with established corporate values.Ethical business conduct offers a wide range of economic integrity, involving strategy, business goals, policies and activities. Three short-listed applicants were interviewed and the selection panel offered john the job. Shortly afterwards, the ICAC received a complaint alleging that john knew he had been appointed to the position before the interviews were held and got the job because he had worked for the department before. The ICAC asked the department to report on the matter. The department wanted to prove the recruitment process was above board so its internal auditor reviewed the files. Recruitment and selection from a vital function any business organization, since human resource is treated as an asset of an organization, ethical issues governing recruitment and selection has to be taken into cognizance while recruiting and selecting an employee for a proposed job.
Job discrimination is a major problem prevailing in many organization today. Job discrimination is the wrongful acts of distinguishing illicitly among people not on the basis of individual merit, but on the basis of prejudices or normally reprehensible attitude. It is consequently understandable that the law has gradually been changed to confirm to these moral requirements and that there has been a growing recognition of the various ways in which discrimination in employment occurs.
Discrimination practices like sexual harassment is another major problem in may organization. Effective measures have been taken to tackle this issue but still problem prevails in many organization, effective measures have to taken to get rid of these issues.

In today’s era managers are challenged daily with disputes like ethics, diversity, working in teams, privacy, sexual harassment, and handling differences. Furthermore, these issues are discussed because they are constantly the debatable topics in the workplace. More importantly, handling differences and diversity is the current situations in the workplace. Moreover, a few managerial concepts must be considered, including selection methods, training and development, performance appraisal, and diversity management.
Religious discrimination in workplace entails an employer treating a person specifically a candidate or staff unfairly because of his or her religious beliefs. The Title VII and law protects people who have wholeheartedly held religious, ethical or moral beliefs (Eeoc.gov.). Religious discrimination can also mean treating someone differently because that person is affiliated with an individual of a distinct religion. Sexual harassment and sexual assault are very serious issues happening today in the workplace. Women or men have suffered from unsolicited sexual behaviors that are typically provoked by someone “higher” in position. “Sexual harassment especially has been a fixture in the workplace since women began to work outside their homes” (Fitzgerald, 1993). It is solely the responsibility of the employer to ensure that all employees within are aware and are very cautions of laws, misconduct, and liabilities. Employers must enforce the Policy Prohibiting Discrimination and further extend those laws and guidelines to their employees.
1.0 Introduction Business ethics refers to what is right and wrong, good and bad, harmful and beneficial regarding decisions and actions in organizational transactions (Weiss, 2009). So how to identify the unethical business practices? It is very easily. For example, which are company use child labor, produce tainted products, false advertising, infringement, polluted environment and etc.
