My freshman year my dad had given me his old car, a 2003 Ford Explorer. He told me that I didn 't have to pay him for it or get a job because my job was school. I had also had a gas card for the small town towing businesses fuel pumps, my dad wasn 't going to make me pay for my own gas either. So as a freshman in highschool I thought I had it made, a car I didn 't have to pay for and free gas all the time. I am very glad that my lesson was learned, it might of been taught the hard way but it was learned. My car was my whole world I loved driving around more than anything. I didn 't have a job, so when I wasn 't at school I was burning gas not my gas my fathers gas. My buddies and I had been driving around all day during the week and all night during the weekends. The one thing I was not paying attention too was how many times I had been filling my car up at the gas station, with my dads card. At the end of the month I came home from …show more content…
I was working had a job and my dad was helping out with gas a little bit again but most of it was still getting paid by me. It was summer time after a very good rain and if you recall there is a very muddy place I like to call a tree dump where I loved to go mudding in my Explorer. That whole day I had been working and I even power washed and cleaned my car so it was shinier than ever. My friends and I were driving around and we passed the entrance to the tree dump. We all looked at each other and I slightly hesitated because my car was very shiny at the time because it had just been washed. Taking a few steps back before I made the worst decision of my highschool career. My dad was out of town at the time for auctioneer school and my supervision was very low. Back to my friends and I driving they said to it was a good idea to go mudding. Long story short I was sitting in the tree dump with a very muddy car with no back tires at all, they had been
A cadillac. My family was rich. They spent a lot on me. Little did I know, that just four days later, I would end up in auto-repair from my bad crash trying to parallel park. About a month later, I was dropped off at Stanford University.
When I was eight, my family could not believe what I was doing to my nanny on the way to Gatlinburg. My family and I begin to scavenge our belongings to place in my mother 's car, my anxiety and excitement begins to rise. We all start to swarm in the vehicle and to my recollection, I notice the sun beginning to ascend over the horizon. My mother stomped on the gas pedal to accelerate the car forward out of our driveway onto the road. In the car, my parents occupy the front driver and passenger seats, my brother sits next to the window behind my mother and I sit behind my father, which leaves the middle seat for my nanny to take up.
The summer going into my freshman year I found a job I liked, a farming business. Two years of working under my boss, a Roscommon Commissioner, progressed my understanding of working above others instead of being a follower. Last year he retired and I decided to take over his business. Having a car allowed me to drive to work everyday before the sun rises above the trees. Getting to work on time was not something to worry about because I was the boss of my new business; my leadership when nobody gave me orders was well enough to get out of bed when most were still sleeping.
I went over to visit one weekend I drove my new car it wasn't new but it was like the oldsmobile it wasn't perfect but i bought it by myself so i really liked it, well at the time my mother's husband backed into it and crushed the door and I was pretty mad about it but i cooled off i knew insurance would pay for it
It had been three years since the Dust Bowl Drought started and it was really affecting my family. My mom, Laurie had to really work hard to support the family and help to play for house repairs that we needed after all of the storms hit. My father, Jonathan worked on the farm right behind our house to try to keep me, mom, and him fed. It was 3:00 I had just got home from school and my parents were still working. I walked inside to see what was cooking, dad had chicken pot pie in the oven.
The trip to Florida. Orlando to be exact. We had been planning this trip for a while. My whole family hopped in the new car we bought about a month ago. It was already beginning to look like the car we had before.
Having your own car makes you feel more undependable and comfortable in your life. You can go to any places without bothering someone else for a ride. It is a big challenge that you will deal with in life because you will need a good job to pay the car that you always dream. We stayed on a resort, and the nearest golf club made dinner for everyone on the resort. All we had to do was pick it up. I was out with my father and two brothers, named Christopher and Stephen, going for a driving tour of the surrounding areas nearest the resort. The tour was extremely scenic, with palmetto trees everywhere. I just so happened to be looking out the window and said a little too loudly, “STOP!”.
When we pulled up to the dirt parking lot we saw my little brother, he was shirtless and waving his arms for us. My mom and I later found out the shirt was used to help control my dads bleeding from the accident. We trekked for over a mile to where my dad was. I prepared my self for the worst because so far we had no details on what had happened, just that it wasn 't good. My mom and I turned a corner on the trail, and saw him.
Sweaty palms, a general sense of fear, and surprisingly enough, some excitement. That’s how it felt in the car on my first drive. Learning to drive is actually a crazy thing when you think about it. We are throwing teenagers, some as young as fifteen years old, into motorized vehicles and putting them on the roadways. That’s a lot of faith and trust to put into the hands of someone so young and naive.

I was finally stepping outside my comfort zone learning to ride a bike. The most memorable time in my life was the time my dad taught me how to ride my first bike. At the age of six he taught me the basics of riding a bike. Along with rules that were set in order to help me be responsible with my bike. I learned to ride a bike without training wheels.
My father told me that buying a car is one of the most fulfilling experience I will have in my young life because I can see where my money is going. Upon doing part-time works, I soon learned that earning money was not easy. Since I was also a student, I had
