Education is such a vital system …but is it really stifling creativity?. Many people think that education is very important for getting the informations and getting the concepts of the subjects. For a long time, Education make the students as a test-taking machines. It removes the connections between the mind and feeling . it neglects the imagination . Education systems doesn’t permit the students to make mistakes or to be wrong. The students should answer the Assignments without making mistakes. As a matter of fact we 're all born with natural talents but our organizations, especially education, tend to stifle many of them and as a result we are fomenting a human and an economic disaster. “ we are educating people out of their creative capacities” (Ken Robinsons). The question is Does Education system stifle creativity? . Although education is very important, it stifles creativity in three main aspects psychologically, personally and professionally.

Psychologically Education does not allow individuals to commit errors. It put understudies under huge levels of anxiety once they attempt to convey what needs be. This leads to kill mental health. Personally existing knowledge of the world is a starting point for young children’s play. Schools do not advance, educate, or support divergent thinking. How can people express their creativity without developing the necessary skills?. Professionally for Professional development education then must change and the change must take place within the context of the current structure .This will leads to a generation of divergent, creative thinkers to solve the problems. The first interaction that begins to unveil this reality is with a kid named Clarrise who describes schools as a place “ to get people together and then not let them talk… just run the answers at you” (27). This first interaction with Clarrise shows how the schooling system is just a way to make kids think that they know what life is actually about and listen to the false information that the government supplies them to control them and accept it without any questions. of the effects of the schooling system is shown by Clarrise’s fear “of children my age. Dr. Derek Cabrera’s thought on metacognition, human and education is absorbing. He shares perspectives on four universal thinking skills: Distinctions; “Systems; Relationships; and Perspectives (DSRP)” that should be taught in learning institutions. Dr. Cabrera states, “Thinking is simply a process of structuring information and doing something meaningful with it.” Dr. Cabrera also argues that people lack critical analytical thinking, great at school work, but not real life situation. Education needs to be fixed from the bottom up; that can be accomplished by teaching thinking skills.
In the “Against Schools” article, author John Gatto describes the modern day schooling system and its flaws. He uses several rhetorical strategies in trying to prove his point. He successfully uses all three types of rhetoric in writing this article, which includes ethos, pathos, and logos. He establishes these strategies very early, and often throughout the article. He believes one issues with today’s schooling system is boredom, and that there is a distinct difference between what it means to be educated and schooled.
The essay, The Seven Lesson Schoolteacher, by John Taylor Gatto addresses educational curriculum with a cynical truth that transpires around the United States. His brutal honesty grasps the reader by using common sense and a hint of sarcasm to appeal to humor. The main point of his argument in my perception, states that we must develop children to be critical thinkers and not always agree with authority. By allowing the schooling in a child’s development expecting them to not question an adult’s words does lead to a population that has accepted being dumbed down. Following what has been indicated, a direct quote positions people deprived forever of finding the center of their own special genius (Gatto, part III, pars 3).
Some people might argue that a child’s upbringing forms the child’s foundation of life. It forms the child’s identity and its view of life. The upbringing of children is a wide concept because it is never the same. The question is if there is an edge between upbringing and torture. The intention of upbringing is indisputable – you want your children to have a great life and a great future, but perchance certain ways of educating children can cause more damage than good.
Almost all children love to write funny stories or just express their imaginations with music or a paint brush. That’s why there are creative, talented students thinking they aren’t smart enough because everything they were best at in school wasn’t stigmatized or valued in any way. In the story “ Against Schools’’ by John Taylor Gatto. Gatto stated how students were bored and that boredom was the new modern day experience for a student.
Ungar says, “What seemed a radical idea in business education 10 years or so ago- that critical and creative thinking is as “relevant” as finance or accounting- is now commonplace.” (Ungar, 2017, p. 228) The work industry constantly adapts to the world, so, it is crucial to have employees equipped with the skills to understand those changes not only from a stateside perspective, but also from a foreign perspective. Once employers do this, they can apply these changes to their job force. Ideas, that once seemed impossible, now seem ordinary in modern time.
Autonomy vs shame and doubt, children from the ages of 1- 3 years are able to comprehend more about their self-image and self-control. Children can also control their body functions by completing certain assignments which gives them the feeling of freedom and self-governance. In Erikson’s third stage of his theory children can understand the difference between what is wrong and right in a social environment. However, children are very easily affected by their errors, and they are not able to see the extent of their actions. As indicated by Erikson 's 4th stage of psychosocial development, children in their middle school years start to perform more convoluted duties and see more perplexing thoughts at this stage.

In this essay I will discuss the importance of following children’s interests, the stages of development and the importance of adult providing appropriate opportunities for the children to be creative. Also I discussed the benefit of music. Schemas form part of Piaget’s theory of cognitive development. Schemas are an organised way of making sense of experiences. While going through the different stages of development children will go through a stage of accommodation this is creating new schemas and adjusting old schemas as old schemas do not capture the environment correctly.

When being creative student and teenager are neither right or wrong, many lessons have various outcomes depending on the culture and experiences of the teengaers in the class.
