Education is critical for development. Education that is missing of the cultures of the people in the society is blank and inadequate. One of the fundamental objectives of the museum is to educate, and it is only the museum that has the ability and the capability to impart cultural education effectively as it houses the tools and materials for doing so in its collections. In modern society, the museums develop the educational process by baring children and the public to their history in a helpful way; they assist our future generations to realize and encourage their history and culture and take pride in the achievements of their descendants.
In museums, a child does not learn alone; rather he/she learns along with his/her parents, brothers, sisters, relatives, friends and other visitors. In a display along the wall to the left of a house-like display, behind the small, white picket fence, of items the patron would typically see in a 1930s era home that include an antique sewing machine table and an old phonograph player. On the wall above this display has some old black and white photos taken during that era that capture the hardships the people faced such as the farming difficulties and the breathing difficulties, the black cloud of dust rolling into town, and the great sadness in the aftermath when the dust finally settled, showing everything buried in a blanket of dirt. The house-like display consists of a typical 1930s living room that include such items as family heirlooms and family photos. The museum patron can walk up onto the porch and go in the front door as if walking into the house itself. Response paper #1 Recently I took a tour of the James E. Lewis Museum of art located in Baltimore, MD. This museum is a part of Morgan State University fine arts building. As I walked into the museum I notice the beautiful entrance that consist of sculptures of very important people in history. In addition I was amazed by the infrastructure of the museum and the setup of the lighting in the museum.

Last Christmas, I had the opportunity to experience the fireworks show in Disney World. The theme park’s magic and wonder fascinated me and thus compelled me to choose Gehry’s Walt Disney Concert Hall as my building of study.
