1.0 INTRODUCTION
According to Moss (2012), since time in memorial education has been of great importance to the world. Education has continued to evolve decade after decade, century after century. As a results of the globalization the education system has changed and more people are more educated especially in the 21st century as compared to the other centuries where education levels were not that high and only a chosen few who managed to go to school that were in apposition to get education as compared to those how never got the opportunity to attend school. The education development in the first world has been high as compared to the developing nations which education is still a mirage to some of the countries and especially countries in the African continent.

Education has a lot of significance to people as it key to development as well as a great weapon against poverty. Many western countries have very low levels of poverty and score high levels of development all a result of education. When people are educated they get empowered and hence are not gullible and therefore are able to choose between what is right and what is wrong and hence are productive people as compared to those that are not educated (Falvo, 2015).
The significance of education cannot be underestimated as education bring along with it good leadership, prosperity, good governance, choice, freedom and so on and therefore the value of education both to an individual and the society is paramount. The societies of West Africa, Europe, and North America exhibited similarities and differences in their religious beliefs, values, and government systems. These contrasts and similarities were further made apparent during European expansion across the Atlantic and the subsequent new cross cultural interactions that were created. One way in which the societies of West Africa, Europe, and North America diverged was in their belief systems. Unlike Europe and North America, West Africa gradually adopted Islam in addition to its traditional religions. Islam diffused through the trans-Saharan trade with North Africa and by the 1200’s was assimilated into the Mali and Songhai Empire.
In many countries living in extremely poor conditions, not only is basic health an issue but also the lack of education. Although it is a necessity, “more than 72 million children of primary education age are not in school and 759 million adults are illiterate” (Rights to Education 1). The deprivation of education should be taken serious if a change is wanted. People need to become aware of how important education is and the benefit that it has.
The significance of education cannot be stated enough, which is an investment to a better future. Getting an education is one of the most powerful things a person can ever obtain. It is crucial to the overall development of the individual and the society as a whole. When individuals do not have the option of getting an education due to the cost of the schools as well as the lack of schools itself. For those living in poverty it can be difficult to earn the same amount of education as other people who are considered middle or high class.
My humble home, tucked within our modest suburb, is brimming with East African culture. The scents of freshly fried chapos permeate through my bedroom walls, plastered with cloth paintings from Kenya and South Sudan. The sound of Kiswahili, the fresh chai burning my tongue, these sensations are my comfort. I am an East African, by blood and by heritage. Dark, ebony skin and lean legs that extend for miles mark me as a typical South Sudanese girl.
A world without education would not have Great Expectations. “Around the world 59 million children of primary school age are being denied an education, and almost 65 million adolescents are without access to a secondary school,” (Doc 6). The education received throughout a childhood determines how the future will be for the new generation. Because so many people do not have an education, when they get older, it is damaging their life and the world as a whole. People are denied an education because of where they live, who they are, and how much money they have.

Introduction: Education is a basic need of every human being. Every country has their own education system with a motive of “to make their people well educated and civilized”. Schools, colleges, universities, Affiliation Boards, teacher, lecturers, professors, students etc all these entities form the system called an educations system. So we can say that: “Education Education system is a collection of interrelated entities or components that work in collaboration to achieve the common goal i.e. educate the students.”

Different parts of our culture today have roots in history. The production culture, how a product gets from creation to us, is based off of the historical “outwork” process. Today, different jobs have unions that protect the workers. This working culture has evolved from the working conditions during the Industrial Revolution. Malcolm X once said “Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepared for it today.” In the western world education plays a vital role in shaping our future; it determines if we will survive or fail in the world we created for ourselves. Our world is constantly changing and it requires a society that is well versed in understanding the problems deriving from cultural differences and tolerance of one another’s beliefs and perceptions. With the power of education we are able to deal with the problems of economic, government, religion and culture differences.
