Basic need like food, cloth, paper and many other things are produced with the help of electricity. Contemporary means of transportation and communication have been revolutionized by it. Contemporary devices like computers and mobiles have also been developed using electricity. Electricity plays a pivotal part in medical and surgical fields too.

Coal is one of the most able to afforded and largest domestically produced sources of energy in the India. It is used to generate an essential amount of our electricity. The environmental impact of the coal industry includes sally such as land use, waste management, water and air pollution, caused by the drawing coal from mines, processing and the use of its products. In addition to environmental hazard, coal burning produces hundreds of millions of tons of solid waste products perennially.
