Very similar to real life engineering, we are tasked with designing and constructing various projects based on a set of requirements or problems. I have always been incredibly successful in this class achieving high marks, and in grade 11 receiving the award for the highest mark for my grade. Although not a prerequisite for any engineering programs, I believe that it greatly benefits all potential engineering students. It puts our teachings into practice to solve real life situations, giving us a preview into the future as engineers. Scheduling conflicts prevented me from taking this great course in grade 12.
To achieve this, I would be interested in gaining exposure to the cutting edge technologies in the area of Electrical Engineering. Being a dynamic and ever evolving field, many new developments are expected and there is immense scope for new applications. It is only after careful consideration of my interests and aptitude while pursuing my under graduate studies that I have decided to pursue my masters in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Electronics and Wireless Communication. The distinguished faculty and excellent facilities at Tampere University of Technology (TUT) make its graduate program ideally suited to my goals. The flexibility of the curriculum will give me the broad-based education I need to widen the scope of my knowledge and skills.
Technological Information, which is actually Engineering Practice, will enable my creative potential as the practitioner. As a lifetime student, I would like to devote 60% of my efforts to practicing and mastering the art of engineering, no matter what area of engineering I will choose as my career. In order to apply the knowledge and implement it into the projects, I must trace the latest information on software for simulation optimization. However, I must not limit myself with only my area of engineering as creative thinking enables processing diverse information and deliberating unexpected solutions.
