If the air is polluted in your area you could research ways to ensure your health in such circumstances. Some examples of things you could do are getting regular checkups or even decreasing your contribution to the pollution by carpooling with someone, using energy more efficiently, or planting a garden. Becoming informed can also lead to an increased state of the environment because you become conscious about the impact of your actions. Sitting in the patio at a restaurant on a nice day, reading a book outside, or just going for a walk on your free time are all ways that can increase your interaction with and respect for the environment. This can also help increase your state of emotional wellness by allowing you to clear your head, feel more connected to the earth, and boost your happiness and
Sustainability involves the ability to be self-sufficient, as well as maintaining the natural environment around one. Today there are many people who still maintain a self-sufficient lifestyle, however external factors have limited their abilities. These factors relate to social justice, which is described as a distribution of wealth, opportunities and privilege in society.

Once the environment is perceived as an equal part of an individual’s community, the human ethical spirit will respect the environment, cherish its benefits and beauty, and be obligated to preserve it. Sustainability: If you take a look around at what’s really happening in our world, there’s an inescapable pattern of ‘what’s going on is simply unsustainable’ and in other words, it can’t go on for much longer. Sustainability is to “meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”. As cities began to grow with the population increase, the need for a sustainable development became more apparent as resources began to diminish in quantity and value.
