Consumers have become more aware about products that they buy whether it is transparent or not. A number of companies have introduced their sustainable strategies in order to build their positive image. However, some organisations may just ignore it and divert customer’s attention. When concerning about the ethical issues in a fashion industry, there are a variety of aspects that should be concerned such as social, environmental and commercial. In fashion business, it is trendy to design an item which contains leather or fur especially for autumn/winter collection. FSA Practice Essay: Clothing Over Time Clothing has existed in many cultures for thousands years, and clothes have advanced in their style and functionality over all of these years. From ready-made apparel used in the America Civil War to using computers to design clothes during the 21st century, clothing has come a long way from its origins. Preferences in clothing changed drastically as well, going from preferring style over comfort to comfort over style and back again countless times throughout the years. Overall, the evolution of clothing has been one of the biggest in terms of items for humans and will most likely grow even further into the future with new and better technology.
When we hear of the apparel retailer, Lululemon, we usually think of really overpriced athletic clothing. Lululemon is a luxurious brand for those who want to invest in high quality athletic clothing. This retail company was originally founded in Vancouver, Canada in 1998. In addition, the founder of the company is Denis “Chip” Wilson, who is no longer affiliated with the incorporation due to his unprofessionalism. Over the past twenty years, Lululemon has faced a couple ethical issues, but their ethical culture has also impacted their relationship with customers and employees.
The brand have been known to be notorious on pricing their bags and other collections at the most measly tags possible. The established name within the fashion industry have given Louis Vuitton the right to accordingly rate their stuff with prices that are sometimes ridiculous, but we all know that they are not even closing to joking. Just recently, the brand have made public their most expensive handbag to date, the all-new Louis Vuitton City Steamer Bag. Despite the fact that the bag 's design line is already existing, this doesn 't stop the company on finding ways to upgrade it with the use of only the finest materials, some tweaks here and there, et voila, a new fad that women can lust forever.
Ethically, people in the position to make decisions in Nike should bejust, not biased, state of being equal and be thoughtful of the right of the individuals and their workers. Nike faced ethical dilemma within the company, this ethical dilemma means a moral problem with choice of two or more options.
