My family is very inspiring to me. I am very thankful that my parents brought me into this world. Growing up my parents always showed me how exactly things work in life. One of the hardest things that I had to accept was that I could not have everything I wanted. There were times when my parents spoiled me but I was always taught to be thankful of the things that I had and to not be so selfish.
Malala communicates ethos in this quote because she is giving herself credit for all the things she is doing and being the voice for many. And Malala believes that what she is saying is the truth and specifies that she doesn’t need a paper to stand up for what she believes in and no one can change her mind about what she is doing is right for the humankind of people. She also credits the younger girls and children who have an education and that she wouldn’t be standing up for what she believes in if it wasn’t for them. Malala also credits her father when she purifies that “Thank my father for not clipping my wings and letting me fly”(Yousafzai,2014). Malala thanks her father for letting her be herself and do what she believes in and letting her be an independent person who longs for the education she will continue to thank him for all that he has sacrificed for her throughout her life the father is on her side no matter what choices she decides.
Family loyalty is an important thing. As a family, trust and respect are needed to make a home run smoothly. I have two sisters and a brother whom I am loyal to and who are loyal to me. If something were to happen to them I would do whatever was needed to help them and they would do the same for me. We are all protective of each other but we also are have much fun together.
Patria’s sacrifice for her family proves that she is loyal and loving towards them, which shows her family values. “Hear my cry, Jefe. Release my sisters and their husbands and mine. But most especially, I beg you, oh Jefe, give me back my son. Take me instead, I’ll be your sacrificial lamb” (Alvarez
Although, I’ve performed well enough to succeed at many group projects. However, like the Natives, sometimes when they feel like the world was against them, their family are suppose to be the foundation, but the parents have issues and sometimes don’t provide the needed support. Above all, their secret is to never giving up and I feel the same as I have continued to strive at Belmont to complete my AET degree. They have also learned how to accept themselves and know they will change. I’ve also learned to love my family as I am away from home and genuinely listen to them as I see the Lakotas doing the same because they always listen to their elders or grandparents.
They provided the emotional security, which is the very source of the child’s trust. The mother provided the mental and emotional, which are immensely important for the child’s mental and emotional growth and considered the heart of the family. The father, on the other hand, is the head and the strong man of the family. Parents have the basic responsibility of keeping the family intact. In a perfect world, all children lived in happy homes with two loving, doting parents who are comfortable both financially and emotionally.
The love of a family is life’s greatest blessing. In life, there is a universal desire for oneness among people—we want to belong. It is why we collaborate, support common causes, cheer for sports teams, feel nationalism; it’s why we build villages, towns, and cities. Families are where we connect ourselves in relationships to past, current, and future generations. For many, family is not only a blessing, but our greatest accomplishment.
This does not affect my decision this just makes me appreciate it even more. My teachers in the past years have always said great things about me. My parents give me a lot of support and always believe in me. Most importantly I believe in myself. I believe I would be an amazingly positive influence and a great member of the Nation Junior Honor Society.
Being a person who has the ability to know right from wrong in today's society is very hard since nowadays, everyone does what is known to be as “cool”. The way I was and still am raised, has helped me immensely in this world to stay back from negative things like drugs and bad influences, and lean towards a group of friends that constantly stay on the right path. As a teenager, I am one who does not lie and always stays true to myself. As a result, my parents place a large amount of trust in me which gives
Walter states that the Youngers are a calm, good family who “don’t want to make no trouble for nobody,” and are not looking to stir up trouble. All they intend to be is hard working, peaceful “good neighbors” and that give them every right to live in Clybourne Park. Afterwards, Mama, talking to Ruth about Walter, states that, “he finally come into his manhood today,” (151). Walter made his family proud and after much struggle they feel that he has matured. For Mama proudly exclaims that Walter “come into his manhood” by doing the morally right thing “finally.” Also that Walter has come a long way but “today” he is the best version of Walter Lee Younger that he has ever been.
